Stayed in the travel lodge tunbridge wells excellent service during these awful times. Really helpful friendly staff. Paula went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable during our stay! Would highly recommend! Purpose of trip was for work.

Staff are very helpful and the building could be amazing, however it needs some serious renovation. The location is good with great views over TW if the weather allows but parking is very limited and also charged for even though its on site. Not sure we would stay again as the room was very quirky - not always a bad thing but in this case lots of strange noises from central heating, bathroom fan and plumbing and an incredibly creaky floor. The fabric of the building shows a lot of damage and wear, possibly more than should be expected even allowing for its age. Never stayed in an hotel where customers are advised to park in nearby residential side roads.

We booked this hotel last minute and to.be honest reading the previous reviews wanting holding out much luck for a good stay. However on arrival we found the hotel, there wasn't much parking but we got a spot. The girl on reception was really lovely and our room was huge and really clean. It is dated but we found it very enjoyable.

An old building, basic facilities but nice and warm. Staff very helpful and friendly, would definitely stay here again.

OK for the sale price I paid, but would not stay there at full price. Staff were pleasant, but decor in the public areas has seen better days.

1) Staff at night shift told us that there were lack of parking space and instead told us to park the area opposite to the hotel. Finally got a PCN when picking up the car the following morning and another staff told me that this is none of their own business. What a shame! 2) Unpleasant odour for the whole toilet, especially within the tub. 3) Could not use any body wash 4) Lighting (in toilet) did not work for some occasions 5) Too dark for some area of the room (near the TV/mirror)
