The welcome was wonderfull and very warm. The Masai singing was enchanting. Tastefull fresh food mostly home grown and full board. In the midst of nature with animals passing by in the valley. Charming spacious cottages with comfort in an african rural twist. Totally embedded in the community which leeds to a big range of activities.You never get bored there we die baboon walk, walking safari with a sundowner with magnificent view over the river, campfire with homemade music on an homemade guitarish instrument.Other activities like gamedrive, camelwalk and so on,... We also visited twala women community and learned about there empowering projects.

We had the most incredible stay! The cottage was gorgeous, with hot water and a beautiful view, comfortable bed, all the amenities you need. Paul and his staff are incredibly friendly and relaxed, ensuring every need and wish are granted. The food is out of this world. Most of all, the opportunity to learn about the Maasai community and connect with the local people is such a joy and honor. Lekurinde, a Maasai warrior, took us on a game drive and tracked a leopard - and shared his musical talents by a campfire. I can’t wait to come back with my family for another stay!

The location of the lodge is excellent, being located close to Loisaba conservancy. The camp is small, including few comfortable cottages, that are owned by the local community. The cottages are very well equipped and clean; the beds are very comfortable. Excellent hospitality of the staff and of the manager Paul. All members of the staff are always smiling, attentive to guests and ready to help us. The food was also delicious and varied. A pure pleasure for the taste buds of gourmets!!! Moreover, excellent level of knowledge of the guide, who is native of Loisaba conservancy and speaks English fluently. He enabled us to see many during unforgettable full day and night game drives. For families with children, there is a swimming pool. Altogether, I HIGHLY recommend to stay in Lewaso cottages, which is a small paradise "Out of Africa".

This is an excellent and reasonably priced comfortable place to visit. The landscape is serene which I could enjoy from my own private deck with fresh coffee throughout the day. Paul the manager was extremely helpful in making arrangements for a game drive and a couple of great cultural experiences with the area tribe, along with nightly camp fire and music from a Kenyan Nyatiti. The dining was fantastic and used mainly fresh ingredients from the garden and area. The Kenyan coffee was strong and plentiful. I actually arranged for a stunning helicopter excursion to pick me up from here on my second day. At the end of my stay, Paul transferred me to my next destination in Loisaba without issues. I do recommend giving Lewaso Cottages a visit and a heads up if you make a booking to inform them of your wishes as the Cottages are very remote.
