My hubby and I really enjoyed our stay. The food was great, the staff was very friendly and hospitable. The nightly activities were fun, the room service was also great. We had a variety of restaurants to choose from each day for lunch and dinner. There was a pool bbq everyday and so much more. We stayed at the luxury side of the hotel which was all inclusive. I would recommend this place as I would definitely go back.

No great as there are things that need to be addressed urgently at that hotel such as the quality and taste of the food and the electrical and plumbing facilities.

I’ll start with the items I liked, the view and beach. Other than that this trip was not up to par. We traveled to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday, her first time out of the country and on a resort. Definitely not her best experience. We had to ask over 10 employees over the span of 4 days to have her door banner put on with the bottle of champagne delivered to her room. Finally our last night there it was done. Then to bring up the food and cleanliness, there were multiple roaches in the food areas, on the food! In the rooms and in the ground's bathrooms. We were completely grossed out. The turndown service completely ruined some of my medicine, feminine products and make up brushes because somehow the house keeper cleaned my sink, moved my items and placed everything in piles of water, water from what I have no clue. I also had my dirty clothes on the bathroom floor and those were all soaked as well. I reported this to the experience employee but never received a follow up. Then to mention my Mary Kay eye makeup remover “disappeared” out of my room the day I was leaving to go home. I tried calling the front desk, concierge and house keeping but all lines were busy to report the missing item. I was never asked how my stay was at check out. I'm sad this was my daughter’s first travel experience at this resort.

The whole stay was amazing, this resort is beautiful and the staff was great! Definitely will be back. I recommend looking up Kandy K Tours for transportation and for excursions!

Our first stay at a Bahia Principe property was absolutely FABULOUS! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmth from the sun AND the amazing team members. Kisha was SO KIND as she invited us to the Privilege membership infosession. Marvin did an amazing job touring the club access amenities. Ricardo was such a pleasure as he showed us to our room and explained everything about our stay. Jevaughn, our bartender was very helpful serving our drinks as well. We literally feel like we can't wait to go back and visit our friends again at our home away from home. The grounds and pools were immaculately attended to and well kept. The AC worked non-stop to refresh us every time we entered our beautiful room. The food at the buffets was diverse and tasty. The a la carte experiences were just okay, but next time, we hope to try Mikado. We also loved the fact that if we felt like partying or relaxing, it was easy to find the perfect spots by the pool to fit whatever vibe we wanted at the moment. We'll DEFINITELY be back to Runaway Bay and looking forward to other Bahia location properties.

Great place. Usually 2 elevators were down at a time so had to always look for one working. Employees were awesome

I loved the resort. I stayed at Bahia Luxury but like the Bahia Grand best. Still both sides walkable from one to next

Liked food, pools, beach spot, hotel app and 2/3 of the entertainment options. Our house keeper was consistently amazing.
Hated that our air conditioner in our room NEVER worked. We talked to the front desk 3 times, put a request on the resort app, and finally went to the lobby to find someone. Each time, maintenance came to evaluate and left with no feed back or follow up. We finally went to the front desk to talk to someone in person, found out nothing was actually reported anywhere and that we talked to the wrong people every time. No option to change rooms as they were full so had to stay in a room that was 77-80F. Unfortunately, we couldn't sleep so really made the rest of the experience negative.
