Rupakot Resort

I had terrible experience in Rupakot Resort which I visited on 16 August 2025. I was in pokhara and wanted to go to Rupakot resort for dinner. I ordered two items- Pad Thai Noodles and Hakka Noodles. When they brought food it was completely different unlike mentioned in menu. I never eat chicken but there was chicken in it and it was not hakka noodles. It was local noodles. Later i made complaint coz they spoiled my time. The chef arrived with explanation but i noticed he was dressed so unhygienic. Ironically front desk staffs were dressed well. I made them write on paper which i have attached herewith

We stay 1 night 2 days and the resort has lovely atmosphere. Mountain view from the resort is just mesmerizing. Food was delicious. Entire staff members are awesome specially Bishal. He was very talented, understanding, prompt in services, polite, humble, smiling, cheerful, friendly, co-operative and efficient.

Warm hospitality friendly staffs.. my 17 months daughter was very fond of Ms.Shashi, the host for our dinner and breakfast, many thanks to her...The view is heavenly.. friendly advice: make sure to book for MAP with the mountain few rooms.

An amazing place! Congratulations to the entire team and the founder’s family members for creating such a wonderful resort. We feel incredibly lucky to have had the best room, and the food was both delicious and healthy. The staff were exceptional—very friendly and attentive. My wife and I enjoyed the peaceful garden, and after seeing the children’s playground, we couldn’t help but miss our kids. Next time, we’ll definitely bring them along—it’s a safe, family-friendly place. The reception staff’s warm smiles were priceless, and the driver who picked us up and dropped us at the international airport was honest, polite, and made the journey comfortable. This resort truly feels like a piece of heaven. As we are also inn-running people in the mountains, we were deeply inspired by their journey and the way they’ve presented such a beautiful experience. Road construction is still in progress, but once completed, this place will be even more accessible and perfect for a getaway. Highly recommend! Thanka Inn Gokyo Pasang and Puspa Sherpa

We visited this resort a few years ago. The location, hotel environment, and shuttle service were quite good. However, both back then and even today, the hotel continues to respond to guest complaints with the same copy-paste replies. It seems they are more focused on posting ready-made, scripted responses rather than investing time in improving themselves and their services. If there had truly been any improvement in service, why are the same complaints still appearing even after all these years? The management needs to implement improvements not just in words but in action. No matter how much they advertise, if guests are not happy with the service, then what’s the point? In terms of hospitality, the hotel is far behind. You can sense that the moment you walk in. We stayed at the hotel for two nights. On the second day, we had a hot air balloon ride scheduled and had to leave early in the morning. After the activity, we were supposed to return and stay at the same hotel again, as we had already made a booking. However, the security guard at the hotel gate didn’t allow us to go out. The reason? They thought we might be guests trying to escape without paying! 😂 The hotel had already taken an advance payment for the booking. Such low-level behavior was unnecessary, but perhaps that’s the limit of their mindset and professionalism. We were delayed by 30 minutes before finally being allowed to leave the hotel. The hotel menu is extremely overpriced. Considering the quantity and quality of the food, it doesn’t feel justified from any angle. Copy-pasting generic responses will not save the hotel’s reputation or help it grow in the long run. Since it’s a service-based business, the focus should be on applying guest feedback into real improvements — not on scripted replies and lack of genuine change. Thank you.
