Wonderful experience! Hosts Christine and Ian most obliging. Rooms meticulously clean and well appointed. Room were of a luxurious size with elegant furnishing. Gardens a delight to sit and reflect on a day of eating and wine tasting. Thank you 10/10

The quality of this Bed and Breakfast is right at the top end, from the hosting by Christine, to the spaciousness, the quality of the furnishings too. Breakfast is at your leisure from 8am and prepared to order. It was very apparent to us that Christine enjoys her role as host and tells of local attractions and where or what to do. We enjoyed her company too when she was available. My wife's mobility restrictions were easily catered for, with an accessible bathroom and no steps to cope with in the home. All in all, the accommodation was probably the best we have stayed in Australia and internationally and as mentioned previously the hosting at the highest level. From booking to check out Christine was kind & helpful. Room was immaculately clean. Bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water in the spacious bathroom. Coffee & tea making facilities in room with plenty of milk included. Fantastic air conditioning. Delicious breakfast cooked by Christine was terrific too. Thank you. Overall, we cannot fault Barkly Suites. We will definitely be back. Rutherglen village & wineries were delightful. Highly recommend.

Had a one night stay at the Barkly Suites. Had a fantastic time. The room was very spacious and well appointed, and the breakfast was great. Our hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, giving us some very helpful tips. And all at a very reasonable price. We will look forward to going back again.

The place was lovely clean comfortable Friendly Hosts Our Border Collie loved playing with the 3 Border Collies that live here We have booked to come back again Highly recommend for everyone whether you have a dig or not .

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at Barkly suites. Quiet , lovely room , everything we could want was included, spotless ,beautiful gardens , Amazing breakfast. Our hosts Chris and Ian were fabulous . We will definitely be back. Thank you Tim and Chris

The apartments were spacious and well equipped. We were able to use the bbq to cook and sit out on the back deck to enjoy the evening. Chris was very friendly and helpful and cooked a great breakfast.

Six of us stayed the night here when travelling from Canberra to Melbourne. We were very impressed with the hospitality, accomodation and breakfast provided by Chris and Ian. Very spacious, comfortable and well appointed facilities. Highly recommended

Have stayed here before but because of the amazing ongoing service really wanted to write another review. My wife and I travel from Newcastle to Melbourne regularly and when we drive we always use the Barkly Suites as our stopover point, this time for the return trip as well. An extremely welcoming host, that also provides a fantastic breakfast, including freshly cuts fruit. The rooms and ensuite are extremely large, extremely clean and always a pleasure to unwind after the days travelling. There is a two bedroom unit, which we intend booking to meet up for a Rutherglen three day visit with my son and daughter in law. You will be pleased that you took the time to read this review as this is an outstanding find in Rutherglen
