The Crown Hotel

Horrible,awful,dirty,music so loud till early hours . Had to clean our room with face wipes,not the room we booked,no breakfast in pub as extra was told to go to cafe up the road. Bathroom light kept flickering,springs coming up through the double bed,no bed side lights,no bedside tables. Window held up with a log of wood, window frames black... Awful and they won't give us our money back. We slept one night and left couldn't spend another two nights there!!!

Will be staaying here in future, nicer stafff good place, great ofod, great griendlt staff, cheap beer cheep rooms. best place in rye to stay, better than *- every 3hotel in the area! no dusty rooms cant wait to cum bk soon to stay here with friends

AVOID, Beds are cheap and uncomfortable, Music downstairs is loud and goes on past 11pm. Quite a rough pub, with likeminded punters, not many of them. Worst Hotel ive ever stayed in and I live life on the road working all over. Bad experience, please leave alone or read reviews on here.

Only stopped by for a lunchtime drink. Nice traditional interior and very welcoming staff. It was a very hot day, hence we decided to sit outside and "watch the world go by" so unfortunately, unable to add more.

I would avoid - very dated ‘hotel’ - it’s just a loud pub with awful rooms above. Lots of drunken people outside after the pub closes very late. Staff friendly and there wasn’t anything they could do to put it right. Needs a complete renovation.

just had another wonderful 7 day vacation at the Crown Hotel in Ryde on the Isle of White weather was great, the rooms are nice and comfortable, where there are tea & coffee making facilities, along with tv's in every room, all rooms are competitively priced, each and everyone off the staff to many to mention and the senior management team of Simon & Angel are so friendly that they make you feel as if you are at home. the locals are also friendly and enjoy a good chin wag. unfortunately the Crown does not do any food, but there are plenty of eateries within a 5 minute walk you can try out, or plenty of takeaways in the vicinity if you prefer that. there has just been a new bus station station built in Ryde where you can jump on a bus to any part of the Island to explore what it has to offer or you can stay in the bar area where you will enjoy sports all day on the 2 giant screens and multiple screens around the bar where they will have drink promotions on all day. I honestly would highly recommend the Crown to anyone who is going to visit the Isle of White and looking for a place to stay in Ryde.
