Hotel Palia Sa Coma Playa

Upon arrival the entrance lobby is clean and well presented, and the reception staff were great. We had booked 2 rooms but they put us in a family room but we weren't happy with this and changed the following day. The room I stayed in was clean enough but the shower didn't work, the rainwater head just sprayed water out of the top and should been a simple replacement, the other head kept slidding down the rail. We did report this and the handyman did try to fix but failed miserably, he did say he would be back the following day. He wasn't so I ended up using some braid to tie it up and it still wasnt fixed by the time I left. The other room had wall sockets dangling out of the wall and very dangerous, there fix was to just push it back in but would fall out if touched. Poor maintenance. Outside around the pool area looks tired and dirty and in need of a good scrub especially the floor tiles. The chill out area was dangerous at times as it had raised tiles but many don't sit properly so when you stand on a tile some llifted up. The older gentleman on the pool bar was also very rude. Food was ok and just ok, some might find it difficult to find something to eat and also seems to be a free for all but that just rude people in general not wanting to queue. Although a cheap holiday in sun and hotel nicely situated it's not a 4* hotel. And parking is non existent so don't bother with a hire car.

Great location sacoma is beautiful. Rooms in hotel badly needed painted our room was dirty window smashed we had a cockroach first day mould on bathroom door tiles cracked we had excellent air conditioning we asked 3 times for a different room and we where told that we had a promotional room we paid £1700 we emailed love holidays and got no reply this is not acceptable for a 4 star holiday

Great welcome on arrival, friendly staff, good size room, lots of food to choose from, great pool with drinks and snack bar. I minute from the beach and what an amazing beach it is. Bit of a trek from the airport but private transfer got us here in an hour.
