I chose this hotel based on the reviews on this site. It was for a special occasion and it was our first visit to Switzerland. Saas fee is an amazing place and the hotel is lovely. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and hardworking. I upgraded to a room with a view and wow! what a view. We love mountains and have visited many countries but these mountains are a different class. The Allalin is perfectly situated to make the most of the surroundings. We don’t ski anymore but we are snow shoe and winter hikers/climbers and Switzerland is amazing for our chosen activities. The food at the hotel is second to none and is plentiful. Although we don’t drink alcohol very much, the drinks prices are on a par with the UK. If you get the chance, go to Zermatt and ride the Gornegrat cog railway up to the top station and see the Matterhorn. The view will blow you away. We fell in love with Switzerland, Saas fee and the Hotel Allalin.

This is a fantastic hotel. The room was super comfortable, very quiet at night, everyone in the hotel is super friendly, the restaurant is spectacular, and the location is great. Highly recommended. We defenitely plan on returning in the near future.

Good position. Very comfortable room. It is the third time we book a room in this hotel (2025, 2022, 2018) and all the "plus" are confirmed. This time we had selected a room+breakfast service. In case we will return to Saas Fee, very likely we will choose this hotel again. Thanks.

Very nice stay. Good breakfast and pleasant stuff. Well organized ski depot in vicinity of the Alpin express. Skiing slopes are well prepared with a vertical distance of 1700m. Saas Fee is skiing sport centre, there are many 4000’s around.

Excellent family run hotel with very friendly staff. Great choice of breakfast. We only booked bed &breakfast but did eat in the restaurant on our first night and we used the bar. The restaurant was lovely. Cake and coffee every evening after a long day skiing was a very nice touch The Mountain View from the room was spectacular and a well furnished balcony if you wanted to enjoy the sun when it was out. We loved everything about our stay

This charming family run hotel is a true jewel in the Swiss Alps. Every detail has been covered. Sumptuous breakfast. Exceptional 5 course evening meal. Perfect for both winter sports and Summer hiking. Immaculate bookable sauna, with cutain shower and relaxing day beds.

Wow!!! What a wonderful family run hotel this is. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel most welcome by the fanatic staff at this hotel. The service here was second to none. Rooms were clean , warm with lovely bedding and our room had a newly refurbished bathroom. Breakfasts were plentiful and our evening meals were outstanding. The chef here was turning out food of the highest standard every night. The maître D would come around and check if everything was well with our stay and made us feel very special everyday. We as a family, will definitely be back to stay here soon. .

Nothing really bad and nothing really amazing Rooms are comfortable without being over the top Great bed sheets Good breakfast Staff is not really warm Ski local is good with possibility to leave them right below slopes Considering the price some extra mile could be done such as using the hotel shuttle to drive guests whilst public shuttle are overloaded
