Gustavs Place

I've stayed 4 days at Gustav's place and I really recommand to choose it while you stay at Sablayan. All the staff is very friendly and very helpful. The owners are also very kind. You definitly feel like home. I went on an overnight dive trip at Apo Reef and it was amazing. The service was very efficient and the staff again very friendly. For the foodies, very tasty food has been made and served during the trip, you won't leave empty stomach. If I have the chance to go back to Sablayan I will definitely come back at Gustav's place !

Wonderful stay, we spent 3 days (2 nights) at gustav's place. The place is a little hard to find (either go from the beach After crossing the bridge or ask for a bark at the end of the road for 20pesos/person ) but this little travel will be rewarded. Once there you will meet Gustav and his wife, the nicest people we met during our travel, they took great care of us and made everything easy ! The place is beautiful and the accomodations were perfect with view on the sea !

The worst managed resort I've been to so far. don't even think about making a trip to Apo Reef with them. They don't have a certified guide in the dive resort, I don't know if they have a boat, if they do - can you travel with it - for sure doesn't have what is necessary to provide first aid (oxygen - that will be in your dreams). The air unit is older than my years, the air in the tanks is dirty , it is not healthy for the body. We was a group of 13 person, and we plan this trip 5months early, the trip was full prepaid. We got nothing more then a lies. The trip with overnight to Apo reef didnt happen. On the resort works legally (my be i am not sure about) only the cook and a "reception" lady. The man who presented himself to us as a dive guide turned out to be an ordinary tourist who is a musician......Can you imagine the whole group of divers trusting him with their lives, in case of an accident he would surely play music for them.....And a lot of things like this, for the rooms and hygiene i will not say a lot-Dirty,Dirty,Dirty........By the way in the town works tourist police if you need help. CHOOSE OTHER PLACE

In this so called resort there is no room service staff and therefore no one to clean your room and change your towels! Also the water pressure is weak and in 5 days I was able to shower only once, but those are the minor problems here! They crowded us 13 people, the whole diving equipment and 30 bottles on a boat that was for a maximum of 6 people and which is not diving boat! No briefing of course! The air in the bottles was also bad! Our stay there was pre-paid and we got to go to Apo Reef with an overnight stay there! After 2 days of lying we didn't go anywhere! We asked for an explanation from the main guide, but he turned out to be a guest friend of the owner who was only helping and has no LICENSE as a diving guide! The owner and the manager of this place were hiding and the correspondence was only through the waitress or the cook! After 2 days of arguments with the police and conversations with our consul, we got our money back! Since 10 years I like to go all over Asia and since 5 years I have been diving there and I have not been in a worse and more dangerous place. My advice: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Résumé de notre séjour à Apo reef et de notre nuit à cette endroit : Depuis environ 3 mois avant notre venue nous négocions les tarifs et sommes en contact avec Gustav’s pour savoir quand des gens sont intéressé La semaine avant a plusieurs reprise on nous dit que des gens doivent confirmer, les prix s’entendent entre 19000 et 21000 PHP, de base nous voulions seulement une journée sur le site, mais après plusieurs discussion, les personnes intéressés ne veulent seulement 2D1N et 3D2N, nous payons donc un billet de coron à Manille en last minute car le ferry et en maintenance puis un bus jusqu’à Sablayan d’environ 10h En arrivant on nous laisse gentiment récupérer notre chambre à 6h au lieu de 12h (chambre insalubre, la pire que nous ayons eu aux Philipines en 1 mois et demi) et lorsque nous nous réveillons et allons voir pour le trip du lendemain nous ne sommes que 3 et donc le prix remonte considérablement, ayant fait tous ce chemin nous essayons de trouver un accord et on nous propose un prix attractif bien que hors de notre budget, nous acceptons, maintenant que nous sommes la plus trop le choix, nous allons chercher l’argent en ville, le donne et nous apprenons 10 minutes plus tard par l’autre plongeur que deux snorkellers se joignent à nous mais que le prix reste visiblement le même, pas très correct, on essaie de voir plusieurs voir et on nous dit que notre plainte va être transférer à la propriétaire… sans retour On nous donne un rendez vous le lendemain matin à 5h, le dive master est présent mais le temps passe et rien ne se passe, finalement c’est seulement à partir de 5h30 qu’une seconde personne arrive, la fille de la propriétaire qui arrive comme une fleur à 5h50 et les autres qui suivent, 6h ça se met à préparer, top départ 6h40… Lorsque nous embarquons nous allons sur le pont supérieur et c’est la où nous resterons pour le reste de notre séjour ainsi que les nuits à la belle étoile lorsque nous ne sommes pas sous l’eau Plus tard dans la journée nous passons un coup de balai pour rendre notre lieu de vie agréable car le bateau y compris notre le deck n’est pas très propre et rangé La cuisine est très bonne et varié La fille de la propriétaire ne sert pas à grand chose mise à part flirter et dormir Russel lui est un super dive master et guide D’ailleurs les plongées sont de 40 ou 45 minutes et nous avons demandé à faire plus longtemps en fonction de nos consommations On ne comprend pas pourquoi il y a autant de personnel (9 je crois) car la plupart du temps ils sont tous sur leur téléphone, entrain de faire la sieste ou faire tout autre chose que s’occuper du bateau et de nous Le 1er soir il a été compliqué de dormir étant donné que le crew buvait, pisser dans l’eau et se sont fait leur soirée sans se préoccuper que des clients soient à bord, ils se sont rendu compte bien plus tard qu’ils avaient oublié de mettre en place nos bâches pour la nuit, le lendemain j’ai demandé pourquoi ils étaient calme ont m’as répondu que c’est

Отель находится на самом пляже, до которого можно доплыть на лодке, номера комфортные, но санузел ужасный, бойлер не работает и приходится поливать себя ведром и кувшином. номера, я был там в течение 5 дней номер за это время не убирали.Кухня отеля хорошая.
