The room was clean and well presented . Check in was made more difficult as the screen did not work for both ourselves and others which meant waiting for a receptionist to man the desk. She was polite and efficient. The breakfast was good. Parking was limited and we paid for parking on a nearby street . This turned out to be cheeped than the multi story car park even when the discount was applied
Overall we were pleased with our two night stay in St Albans. This was the fourth forth hotel we stayed at and was certainly the best of the bunch

We thought we were having a great stay, we stayed for 2 nights. Until Housekeepers stole my GHD hair straighteners. Staff were incredibly unhelpful when reporting - first time we called they did not do anything about it. Second time we called someone went up (about 3 hours later). To check on it and just said "there's nothing there." Manager was not in to report to. So yeah. Unless you want your things stolen, I wouldn't stay here.

Went for one night as a catch up with old friends. As with previous Premier Inn visits, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. The 4-star rating was achieved by Nahal who was the jewel in the crown for this hotel. She was extremely helpful and attentive when we were short of towels in our room. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for her when she served our meal in the evening. She is a credit to the hotel.

Disappointing, as we'd used this chain before in other cities. We wanted to be in St Albans to visit family and have access to restaurants, which we did. The front desk computer was going slowly, so check-in took a long time, and we were a bit surprised when another visitor appeared 10 minutes after entering our room, having been allocated the same room. My husband couldn't sleep due to the proximity of the nightclub, which operated until the early hours.

Complete kip, low ceilings, bad decor, run down, uncomfortable bed, badly in need of a refurb. Bathroom is very poor with shower in bath and broken sink. Rock hard pillows made for a bad nights sleep and a sore neck. This hotel needs a lot of money spent on it

Stayed 1 night. Very friendly staff. Yasmine and Callum and Adam made me feel very welcome over the 4 nights I was there. Would recommend coming again. Made the evening downstairs in the restaurant fun and enjoyable. Had a laugh. Thanks to them they made my evening.
