Unplanned evening meal at Llety Cynin which was stunning!! Been here lots of times before and as always the food and service was excellent!!! Looking forward to attend the next tribute event at the end of April to see J’Adele!! Thanks for a lovely evening

We came for Mother’s Day Sunday lunch at Llety Cynin and it was absolutely stunning! Incredibly tasty meal and the brownie for dessert was delicious. The table was set up so lovely and the spa voucher for all mums was such a special touch! We used the park outside for my son too which he absolutely loved! Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back again soon!

I took my Mother (& Father) out for the Mothers Day Sunday dinner at Llety Cynin as my wife and I have stayed here several times. The staff as ever were courteous, & welcoming and very helpful. The event room where we had our meal like the rest of the building was spotlessly clean. The Cleanliness of the utensils and plates etc was also perfectly clean. The Food was outstanding and the portions were exactly right. Attention to detail, quality, and presentation of the servings has always been outstanding each time we've visited. We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere and the live singer was a bonus. just a nice pleasant volume in the background. In the past we have stayed here and used the the pool and facilities. Clean, tidy, attention to detail is what i love. (I really loved the welsh cakes in the room on arrival!) We keep going back for the different events or sometimes just for a coffee as its so calm and pleasant. The staff are wonderful. Thank you again for a great experience. We'll see you again soon. I booked a spa session including a massage for my mother and a family meal. The massage for her was the high point as she was looked after and made to feel special as well as receiving a fantastic massage. Unfortunately everything else was a complete disaster. I was told when booking that they would look after my mum and make sure she had a welcome drink, robe and slippers etc. When she arrived the spa she asked if she could have a drink, she was then handed a plastic cup and told there was a water dispenser somewhere around but that they didn't know where. After using the spa area, she was called as it was nearly time for her treatment and told she needed to wait in an open foyer area until they were ready for her. My mum asked the young lady if she could have a robe and slippers and was told in no uncertain terms that she could not but needed to rent them for £5. My mum asked if she was expected to wait alone, in an open public area in nothing but her swimming costume (baring in mind this was for her 70th birthday) and she was told frankly ...yes! The question was asked if she have a towel instead and the young lady told her again that she could rent 1 for £5! This should not have been a problem and for the sake of a happy customer she should have been given at least some dignity while waiting! This is the poorest customer service I have known! To deny someone some modesty during an afternoon of what should have been a pampering luxury was unacceptable! To top it all of when we sat down together for lunch, we ordered and then had to wait ages before they even brought all our food out ... all expect for 1. My sister ended up waiting nearly an hour, while we all sat with our food going cold. They even gave her a meal she had not ordered and then had to take it away again. My brother actually got up and went to the kitchen to asked what the delay was only for them to bring in out 2 minutes later. No explanations, no apologies. To be honest, I could have made any of this at home ... hardly award winning food here. While I went out to organise bringing the cake in, the owner to it upon herself to l approach the table and asked everyone if they wanted the birthday cake brought out with the candles lit?! Luckily my brother distracted my mum and my sister and sister in law managed to rescue the surprise so that I could bring the cake in. At the time, I did not know this was going on and was busy organising the cake with 2 very helpful and lovely ladies by reception. The candles were lit, the cake brought in, happy birthday sung by all who dined... which was very lovely of them all to join in and a happy surprised mum. So we had the cake but no plates or a knife to cut it with, so again, someone had to leave the table to make the request. What a disappointment! The only saving grace for this was a couple of very helpful customer service ladies and an awesome masseuse... Thank you, you lovely ladies! Your efforts were really appreciated but wasted a

Absolutely beautiful little gem of a hotel. I arrived late on night 1 (due to traffic) but the staff went out of their way to accommodate me. Breakfast was just beautiful the following morning and my evening meal was stunning. I would highly recommend this venue for the food alone, but the hospitality is so friendly, it feels like you've been before and are welcomed as a regular. My extended thanks to Rachael, Rhian and Rhi (the greatest customer agent ever). I cant wait to return.

We held a full day business meeting at this venue earlier this week and I would like to congratulate Elizabeth and the team at Llety Cynin for their excellent facilities and very nice lunch. Nothing too much trouble for the hosts. Will be back for sure.
