Le Petit Bijou

Another fabulous holiday at this lovely accommodation/Gite! 👍 This was a further return stay for us to this lovely village in the Charente. The property is spacious and very clean and is equipped with everything you would need. We love both the hotub/spa and the pool, which is just lovely. Perfect for the warm summer days, and you can also enjoy a BBQ on the patio. Nearby there is a lovely bar/tabac that also offers takeaway pizzas, and a scrummy Boulangerie. Both are a very easy short walk. The garden is very very large, equipped with a children’s play area, and plenty of room for fun games with the kids! There’s also the games room which is a great asset, and bikes available to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. There are also a number of other quaint villages and lovely reasonably priced restaurants, all within a short drive. There is also a cognac distillery/winery nearby and beautiful riverside gardens that can be explored - which are just across the road! Ali & Jason are just the perfect hosts, and as they live in the adjoining property, they are very discreet, but are always there to help if needs be.
