Thank you to the hotelier who helped me with our booking. I had booked the wrong date (i had booked the next day along with our next stop - double booked. Happens to the best of us LOL). We were able to pile into our family room which was a really generous size. The weather was hot outside but the room was cool and the aircon kept the temps comfortable for sleeping overnight. The pool outside was too hot to swim in and was more like a thermal hotspring which was the only disappointment. Close to everything in town

If you are after a comfortable, clean and well located motel whilst staying in St George then Jacaranda is excellent. The check in process was easy and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Located on the main road in finding it was very easy. The rooms are very spacious, clean and well appointed. Ours was a Queen Room giving us everything we needed for our two night stay. Parking is right outside the unit and undercover. Monday to Thursday it is usually full with workers so vehicles being started and moved can wake light sleepers. Other than that it is very quiet. The bed in my opinion is a little too hard for me but my partner loves that type so you can’t please everyone. So with that the only negative for me I would highly recommend this motel.

I came here from looking at the reviews, easy to book in, price comparable to other motels, lots of parking, rooms are on the larger size, shower was good, its handy / walking distance to the main street. But it's the worse bed i think i have slept on, might as well sleep on concrete., its winter and they don't have donnas on the beds?

We loved staying at the Jacaranda! The king bed room was spacious (for a country motel), very well provisioned with a small dining table and two individual lounge chairs and all the other normal conveniences (aircon, microwave, kettle, fridge, tea and coffee station etc). Bed was super comfortable and the TV was large and high quality. Staff were exceptionally friendly and gave fantastic local advice, which we found to be very helpful.

We stayed overnight while passing through in a family room. The room itself was clean and tidy. The grounds of the motel were well kept and the pool looked to be in good condition. The office staff were lovely and we were even met at our car on arrival which was a nice touch. Plenty of parking - you do have to be careful of the poles between the parking spots but there is plenty of room to turn around etc.

Great facilities for the price the rooms are very clean and they have big mugs for your coffee. Shame they don’t do meals but it’s only a short walk to the Australian Hotel that has great meals also who cares if your room is clean tidy and makes you feel comfortable. The site has plenty of parking spaces a

My husband and I have stayed at this motel before and wanted to stay again based on our past experience. Friendly and helpful owners, comfortable beds and clean and tidy rooms makes for a good night's sleep.

I got into St George a tad late after visiting the painted silos at Thallon and was very impressed with Julie Anne's kindness, letting me book a room even though I was slightly out of hours. My stay at the Jacaranda was very enjoyable, the room was very clean and nicely appointed and the location was good, towards the outskirts of town but not too far away from the centre of things. Would stay here again.

We stayed here for a night enroute from Innisfail to NSW. A great room with a luxurious king size extremely comfortable bed. Upon check in, the relieving manageress was friendly, chatty and really helpful. Definitely worth a repeat visit.
