The room was adequate and the bed comfortable, the shower hose was dirty. The evening meal was very good. There was no cooked breakfast available just a breakfast which had to be eaten on the bed in the bedroom. There was either rice crispies or corn flakes, with a dry bun wrapped in sellophane, and a yoghurt. There was also dry oats in a tub which had to have boilng water added. I did not try this. The walls are very thin and I could eat the full conversation of the next door room. There seemed to be no staff in the inn overnight.

Room was very clean but staircase is very steep without a handrail., (it is a very old pub/cottage).
The pain au chocolate was out of date. We did take this back to the lady behind the bar but it was not replaced.
The room was not en-suite but there was a lovely large toilet/bathroom opposite the bedroom which we were told was for our private use.
Shower gels, body lotions were provided which was nice.
To sum up, I think it should be clear that they don't do a full english breakfast, & that it may be unsuitable for people with difficulty climbing stairs.

un locanda vecchia Inghilterra (....proletaria): ambiente vecchiotto negli arredi e nella strutture sopra un pub ( dove probabilmente si mangia bene, ma non sperimentato).Caratteristico dove sono evidenti impegno e gusto per renderlo più accogliente, seppur low cost - Colazione in camera intesa self service, con discreta ricchezza di preconfezionati e piccolo frigo per latte burro formaggio succo ecc.. La nostra camera aveva bagno privato ma esterno/fronte camera, gli amici piccolo bagno in camera Esperienza nel complessivamente adeguata al prezzo pagato, più "autentica " (se si cerca confort standard da grandi catene non è adeguato ).

Highly recommend, just been for my birthday meal tonight and the food was amazing, excellent value for money, there was a lovely friendly atmosphere, the staff were fantastic and very welcoming, very homely feel😊 A big Thank you to Kirsty (the new Landlady and staff for a lovely evening, we will definitely be back soon 😉😊

I stay in a lot of hotels as I work on the road, but I've not reviewed a single one. This place was special. First off, the rooms are clean, beds are comfy, amenities are good, WiFi is great! You get more than what you pay for, which isn't alot might I add! But the single best thing and the Bells, is the people. The Landlady Kirtsy and even the other patrons were all simply lovely people. Literally offered me the food off of their table. Best service I've ever received while staying anywhere. If the world were full of people such as Kirtsy it'd be a brighter place! If I'm ever down this way again, I wouldn't hesitate to book a room. Top marks.

We had a fabulous evening for the re opening night when the new landlady Kirsty took over the pub! Fantastic pub full of character, great hospitality and really comfortable accommodation! Beds were amazing! The kitchen was awaiting refurb so shall look forward to going back in the summer to sample the pub grub! Can’t wait! Highly recommended village pub along the Cornish coastline
