Toile Blanche

I love the treasure hunt of finding a great hotel that no one has recommended but my tenacious searching unearths. And this was just my experience at the magnificent TOILE BLANCHE. Was looking for a one night stay near the NICE airport for final stop of a fantastic friends France journey, and this property is sublime. The bed was incredible, the room decor magnificent, the dinner delectable, product fantastic, and the setting is something out of a pictorial essay of the magical majesty of Provence. Service was wonderful as well. Stay here the night before leaving from Nice, but do yourself a favor, and book an extra day to explore the area and relax at this special place. Love it, love it, love it. Highly recommend.

Wow! What can I say! Honestly the nicest place we have ever stayed! I booked for my husbands 40th surprise and so glad I did! From the warm and friendly welcome on arrival, to the most beautiful of suites, stunning grounds and the most delicious food and drink! Everything was just perfect- I just wish we had stayed longer!

We experienced atrociously childish and embarrassing behaviour from Caroline, the lady in charge of reservations. Long story short, IT issues resulted in us not receiving any communication about our reservation. We turned up at 1am to a closed hotel and had to stay elsewhere. These things happen (right?…) and we took it on the chin. We returned the following morning to Caroline, who ambushed us in the restaurant, where we were trying to recuperate before checking in. She was angry at our lack of communication (huh?) and tried to embarrass us (by shouting and shaming us) in front of a restaurant full of awkward guests. She even persisted after I calmly asked her multiple times to take the conversation in private. No shame. Then, once inside, the conversation consisted of her rolling her eyes, laughing, shifting around in her seat, mumbling in French to her husband behind us and huffing/puffing. It was a crazy display of immaturity and low EQ. I have no idea why she is front of house. Never experienced anything like it. Embarrassing. One of the Leroy brothers stepped in and kindly helped us. If it hadn’t been for him, we would have left. Stay away from Caroline or risk getting attacked.

Toile Blanche is a true gem to relax, unwind and simply enjoy the most beautiful side of life! We have been there about 12 years ago, when it was already very beautiful, so we did remember it and came now back in September 2024 and were absolutely impressed and overwhelmed. The entire property has been enlarged to perfection, so that nothing is missing but the exclusivity remains there. Every detail in the restaurant, at the pool, in the gardens or in the room is carefully chosen and perfectly arranged - very stylish indeed. We had an amzing room with a private pool, which you truly fall in love with. The food was very nice and of good quality wheter at lunch for small plates or for a romantic dinner at night. Visited toile blanche for the first time and will be going back. The rooms are superbly decorated and spacious. The domaine is quite large with beautiful threes and it lays at the feet of St Paul. The kitchen and the chef prepare local style cooking of excellent quality. The atmosphere in the restaurant and the bar is warm and relaxing. A great place to unwind that is close to nice if one misses the city buzz. We were delighted to be upgrade. We received great suggestions about restaurants and the likes to discover around.

Honestly one of the best hotel experiences I've had in a long time. Toile Blanche met my standards every step of the way. It's very remote and country style, family owned, and relaxed. This isn't Disney World, so don't expect huge signs and a bell boy to greet you. When we were checked in we were upgraded to one of their suites with a private pool, and to our surprise they just redid the rooms and they are magnificent. The interior design is so beyond distinguished and stylish, the his/her sinks, bathroom is gorgeous. It's private and relaxed, the pool is perfectly chilled, we just hung out all day swimming, drinking wine, and playing music. We had both lunch and dinner at Toile and it was perfect. The prawns are honestly from another planet, they are so large and so delicious, we couldn't believe it. Dinner was great too, so beautiful with the sun going down, service was fantastic, and relaxed. Then we went back to the suite and just chilled by the lit up private pool. We went for drinks in nearby St Paul, but truthfully we just wanted to go back to Toile where we know the service is great. The aesthetic and design, being a family owned hotel for nearly 20 years left me very happy. I'd go back in a heart beat and recommend this to anyone who wants a relaxed experience in the heart of the south of France.
