We had an amazing 8 night stay at Villa Martinus. The BnB is very well located, super quiet, and close to many beautiful places. The breakfast was excellent. Martin is a very experienced and considerate host. The pool area is very relaxing and the Toucan room was perfect. We look forward to returning in the future

Martin was a wonderful host. He made us feel like we were visiting a friend .. he is very communicative and friendly .. Villa is very nicely situated .. room was spacious and very modern. Martin made and served breakfast for us. The jams his mom made were fantastic .. St. Paul de vence has a very nice village with great restaurant options. Martin dropped us off at the nearest train station for 10 euro and we travelled to Monte Carlo and Cannes by train which is the best way.. we took BOLT ( like Uber but cheaper ) back to the villa on the way back. We enjoyed our stay. Merci Martin !!

We were looking for a place to stay in Nice while the Monaco Grand Prix was taking place, but as everything was fully booked, or extremely overpriced, I decided to look up near my favorite village, Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Like Nice, everything in that area was booked too, except Villa Martinus. I would find out why later. On check-in, we were greeted by the friendly proprietor, Martin. He helped us with our luggage and gave us a tour of his beautiful Maison d'hote. I learned that the only reason that we found availability was that he had just opened, and we were his first guests. Martin is the consummate host. There is absolutely nothing about Villa Martinus that I found displeasing. He even cooked us bacon and eggs for breakfast, which only served to compliment the traditional Viennoiserie, which he had prepared. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Villa Martinus was wonderful. The room was impeccable, the breakfast delicious and the host was helpful and professional. The standards were so high that we couldn't notice it was the end of the season (something we've witnessed at other places). This must be one of the most charming places in the south of France and it is perfectly situated to discover the wider region (be sure to ask Martin for some tips and tricks !)

Perfect location if you have a car. We stayed for 5 nights and really loved our stay. Perfect base to tour the wonderful French Riviera and return back to a relaxing haven away from the crowds. Rooms are lovely and stylishly decorated. Martin is a fabulous host, lovely, laidback and full of helpful information. We will definitely return!

Exactly what you want from a stay. Extremely happy
We had a wonderful stay in Martin's Villa. He is an exceptional host. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and well decorated with thoughtful touches. Our room had excellent air conditioning too and a really good shower. There was also a fridge and safe in the room. The location is perfect for exploring Vence. Breakfast was a welcome treat and nothing was too much trouble for Martin. It was great to be able to relax by the pool. When you arrive, ask the taxi to take you all the way down the hill to the last house on the right, this is a little hard to see if you arrive in the dark. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone.

We've spent Easter holidays at Villa Martinus and we found a beautiful property as depicted in the pictures. Everything is new and in perfect condition. I appreciated the silence, the possibility to park inside the courtyard and the great breakfast. A special remark for the tasty homemade jams by Martin's mom! Martin is definitely a great host and he was always happy to talk to us and give recommendations on what to see or where to eat. I can't wait to be back.

The owner Martin is very kind, helpful, friendly and nice! He also makes great cocktails! The rooms are beautiful, tastefully furnished and very large with a small kitchenette for any need. Breakfast is fantastic and Martin offers a lot of homemade and organic food. The pool is spacious and super clean with several sun beds and umbrellas. The location is great for staying out of the busy cities, yet close to everything. I highly recommend visiting the village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence and listening to all of Martin's advice. I hope to come back soon! PS.: the pictures of the website fully reflect the structure!
