Clean good area close to everything good breakfast

We have stayed at this Hampton Inn 1-2 times a year over the past 5 years. This visit, which was for a birthday celebration, some aspects of this property need to be addressed. Our King room had a Jetted Tub however the interior of the tub must have been sprayed over the original and the spray on was cracked, peeling and exposed the original tub creating an eyesore and could have been a issue IF the tub was used. Instead we only used the shower, BUT were charged more for this particular room. Additionally, the shampoo and conditioner that is installed in the tub area had broken off the wall and not repaired or replaced. This was addressed with the staff at the front desk but no consideration was given.

Hotel was fine, clean, etc. Issue was 2 queen claims to sleep 5 and it does not. I assumed there was a pull out sofa, should have called to check, my mistake, but there was not one. Kids were fine sharing but if I had a family of 5 this would have been a problem.

I stayed one night with visiting customers. Dated room, mediocre breakfast, indifferent staff. We’ll stat next time on Amelia Island. My customers from Japan were very disappointed as well. They did ask for Hilton property so it was partially their fault.

Booked for three nights. First night was fine. Next day no room service. Was advised we had to request it. Finally got service at 5pm. Third day no service until after 5pm and bed not made up. We were told it’s been that way since Covid. Wake up folks COVID’s over. Sounds like a money saving scam to me. Long time Hilton Honors member.

This property was clean and comfortable until we went to bed and realized that the bathroom toilet ran about every 10 - 15 minutes. Husband shook the handle and even fiddled inside the tank, nothing stopped it from running. Shut the bathroom door and ran the air conditioning unit to block out the noise. Not a good nights rest. In the morning around 8:30 am the maid starting knocking on our door every ten minutes to see if she could clean our room. After the third time we finally told her to please give us 20 more minutes and it would be all hers. Proceeded to the front desk to check out and let the staff know about our running toilet. The young girl barely looked at us, all she said was ok, really did not care. Overall, I feel the staff at this hotel was rude and is not very customer service orientated. There are other choices on the island we would try on our next visit.

Great stay for one night! Very clean room - amenities & toiletries were stocked/full - everything worked as expected and beds were comfortable, Good breakfast offered & this hotel delivered on that expectation. Highly recommended for a stay!

We stayed a weekend here and it was a great stay! Our hotel room was nice and spacious and we could tell it had been cleaned. The shower was nice and hot and the bed was super comfortable. It really gave this sleep deprived Mama some much needed rest! The fridge and microwave were nice touches as well as the continental breakfast area. All the staff were so nice and accommodating and my toddler loved the fresh cookies they kept near the front desk. It was my first visit to St. Simon’s so I’m glad we were able to stay somewhere pleasant and that made us feel very welcome. I’m sure we’ll be back!
