Just needed a room for a couple of nights while I was in the area after wrapping up some business. So glad I found this sweet spot close to the village, the water, and a few great places to eat. Great coffee in the morning, comfortable bed, and the desk folks were so pleasant – inviting and helpful. I'd definitely go back!

Location is excellent if interested in visiting the village area. However, rooms in desperate need of updating, missing faucets for sinks are unacceptable, ceiling in need of attention from apparent leaks, and furniture in replacing (worn out).

I think this motel is actually older than the lighthouse. Our room on the 3rd floor had floors warped by water damage, the sheets were sticky and damp, the loud A/C unit barely worked AND no hot water in the morning for our shower. When we mentioned it upon checkout, the front desk attendant barely stopped scrolling on her phone to roll her eyes. Take your money somewhere else...

My husband and I stayed at this Inn for 2 nights in May. The Inn even though is older had lots of charm. Our room #102 had been renovated and was decorated beautifully. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have the wet bar area as well in the room. The continental breakfast was very good with multiple selections and the coffee machine was my favorite! Nice smaller pool area and the location of the Inn is perfect for walking around town and the waterfront area as well. We enjoyed meals at Del Sur Artisan and The Porch. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Loved the decor - each room is different - much like a B&B, but with all the modern conveniences of a chain hotel. And the shower was enormous! Plus a great location - short drive to a number of good restaurants and the coast. Check in was easy, and the parking is right under the hotel, so extremely convenient.

The room was very comfortable and clean, we slept so well! The decor was lovely. There were usb outlets in the alarm clock and the side table, and regular outlets on both sides of the bed. The lighting was sufficient, the fan was a unique double fan light. There was a working freezer with the room fridge that kept our frozen items frozen solid. The people were very friendly, and the 24-hr coffee machine in the lobby was to die for, any type of coffee you wanted it made for you starting with freshly ground coffee beans! The room and our stay were a great value!

Reasonably priced and centrally located this inn offers unique decor a good continental breakfast and off street parking, but our room #110 smelled musty or perhaps mildew. When we brought this to their attention the only response was "that room has been empty for a few days". They made no attempt to resolve it or even visit our room. We are experienced travelers. There are signs the property is in decline.

This historic inn is charming with all the modern conveniences. The rooms are spacious in the old style and very comfortable. The breakfast was much larger and with more variety than I'm used to when "Continental" is advertised, including bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, and 4 cereal choices, along with pastries and fruit. It's also in a fantastic location to walk to several restaurants, shops, the beach & pier, along with the lighthouse, which is literally right across the street. We loved it!
