Grand Estancia Salem

We stayed here for 12 days, visiting the family. This is the first time we have used this hotel, stayed in the Radisson and Sivaraj Inn before. This place is very conveniently located off the highway. We stayed in the executive room, the first room we were shown wasn't satisfactory; there was only a frosted glass partition between the bedroom and the shower room, there was no privacy, we asked for a different room at the time of check-in and the staff were very helpful and showed us a few rooms before we settled into a new one. Very spacious, comfortable and a very effective A/C! The shower head was dirty and the drain was draining slowly and as soon as this was pointed out, the matter was dealt with quickly and effectively! For me, the highlight was the breakfast buffet; this was managed very well every day and full credit to Sivagami, the supervisor there who ran the operation very efficiently and always with a smile on her face! Full credit!! We also had a small get together with family and friends and used the 'One and Above' meeting room which was great for a gathering of 15 people and the catering staff, led by Sivagami, made this a great and memorable experience for us, thank you! The front desk can be quite busy at times but the staff were friendly and helpful, a special mention to Hemalatha, very efficient and pleasant and always had a smile on her face! A couple of negative points: unfortunately, there is some building works going on at the moment, lot of drilling noise during the day, couldn't sleep if you are looking for a nap! In the breakfast buffet, some Indian sweet items like gulab jamun or kesari could be offered ***** with the cakes. Overall, a very satisfactory and pleasant stay for the first time here, we will definitely stay here again during future visits (provided the renovation works are completed by then!!!)

The service and stay was awesome ..with small 2 kids also we managed it well as staffs were very good 😊 I always look for best one when with kids and this was worth the money and stay

Very nice experience as usual. Rooms are comfortable. The staff at breakfast, sivakami ji and Raja were very helpful in customising and is their service. The staff at cinnamon restaurant were also very courteous and helpful. We have always enjoyed our stay here

The service and stay is very good and breakfast is well recommended especially service from Sivagami Raja is great. Price worthy hotel.

I have stayed here 4 times in the last 2-3 months. But I feel I accepted mediocre service / response! Generally , the booking is done through our corporate makemytrip account - pricing is good. However, the frontdesk insisted that I could book directly and get good offers - Actually not when I tried this time, price was 30% higher and they never bothered to confirm booking. I reported this to a staff/manager there , no response!!! The rooms are good and clean BUT this time there was water stagnation in the bathroom. I reported this when I got a random call from the service staff checking on the service level , etc. but nothing happened post that!!! MacBook doesn’t connect to their WiFi and they don’t have a fix for this though the IT staff tried his best, on top it the mobile coverage inside is weak. So work gets hampered!!! On all this , when I dont get responses from a staff / manager for a detailed msg sent , I can understand their level of focus on customer service . I wouldn’t recommend this place 👆🏻for these reasons. But I found a few staff and food to be good.
