My stay here was extremely relaxing and the staff made sure we were well looked after. The breakfast was great. I also did a private tour of the cocora valley due to some health concerns. I booked it through the hotel and the service was great. My guide was highly informative and knew all about the history along with providing great insight to all the plant life there. He was very attentive to my needs and made sure I did the trek at my own ease. He was very pleasant and also made me try some of the local food and fruits which was great. I also got a massage there which was amazing. No issue with hot water either and the place was very clean.

Would highly recommend Hotel la Floresta! We had a wonderful stay. Clean rooms, the best free breakfast I’ve ever seen (fresh fruit, breakfast menu to pick from, rotating fresh fruit juice - all from the rooftop overlooking Salento), very kind and helpful staff, and a great location overall. I was able to practice my Spanish with Erica - she is so lovely and goes out of her way to make you feel at home, and is a great teacher too! Definitely would stay there again in the future.

We had a wonderful time in the hotel. The most amazing view we ever had, everything was great! I would definitely go back if I had a chance. Highly recommended! The location and the breakfast was both perfect.

Very nice hostel on the edge of Salento‘s center. Comfortable and quiet at night. We had a nice private room with a well-fuctioning shower. Breakfast was okay, staff super friendly. Would recommend to anyone who wants silence at night but likes being close to the buzz of the town. They also offer varieties of activities (information office right next door) and help with anything needed.

Super friendly and helpful staff! Nice View from our room and the Terrasse for breakfast. Amazing value for a good price. They even have a gym! The Bike-Coffee Tour was very nice. (We Rent a Bike from the Hostel).

Midrange hotel in a great location, close to town center but far enough away from the noise and crowds. The rooms are very basic and the beds are very firm, but all clean. The breakfast area had amazing view of the area and the breakfast was delicious and substantial. I'm giving a lower rating because of the loud, rude and disturbing group of guests who yelled and played loud music late at night., til 3am on our last night there. It was a group of 5-6 young men and wasn't comfortable going out to the open area/common area of the hotel to ask them to be quiet and show basic decency and common sense for the other guests. I would have expected the hotel staff to do this. But I don't think there was anyone on-site after 11pm. The hotel weren't at fault for creating the noise, but I would have expected the hotel to ensure guests have a quiet night. You may not encounter loud guests, but without staff onsite, you should be aware.

Had an amazing experience at this location . Everything is clean and organized , the breakfast is freshly made every morning , great options as well. Everything tasted delicious. Quite at night, close enough to town for a short walk They gave me option to check in early as I arrived before check in time . They also give you option to put your things away in a secured room after check out if you wish to go into town or do other things . You also still have access to lobby waiting area and shower if needed after check out . Would recommend to anyone .

La Floresta was a wonderful hotel offering many additional services (spa, laundry, tours, maps and recommendations for what to do in the area). The breakfast was very good (juice, hot drinks, cereals and an option of hot breakfast). The rooms were clean, showers warm, staff helpful and overall experience very good! There was even a shared kitchen if you are interested in that facility.

Great place to stay if you're staying in Salento . Walking distance into the main part of town . Eliana and Ernesto were more than welcoming and very helpful on about everything . I would stay here again . Hot water worked . Breakfast was the same each day but was tasty .
