My husband and I travel all around the country on a motorcycle and we always look for charming, clean, special motels that feel like they have something special. This place definitely fit the bill! Rooms were great, service was great, motel property was great. Lots of lovely details and TLC throughout the motel.

Definitely not as advertised.The pillows are old and terrible.Bathroom was not as advertised Hot tub was dirty and only one set of jets worked. Breakfast consisted of coffee and granola bars. The staff was nice and said ownership was aware of problems. Worst place in Salida and I have stayed.

We stayed in an Airstream trailer, with our 2 dogs, it was excellent. The Airstream was clean and comfortable, there are a lot of windows for natural light. Roomer then a hotel room when you have dogs. Understand these are older trailers, no bathroom or shower, you have a building to go too for that. Glamping, it's a lot of fun and they did not charge extra for the dogs. Location is great for all the hotels are off the highway, and access to town and trails is easy. The grounds are clean, with little park area that has corn hole and chairs to hang out. Note breakfast is limited, recommend bring your own or go to town, coffee was empty so now comment on the local coffee sold there and brewed there. I would highly recommend staying here!

Stayed here on a trip half way home. I’ve driven by it many times when I’m in the Salida area but always opted for the less expensive options. Not anymore! Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Spacious rooms. Going to get the free breakfast and coffee now.

This is the cutest place for a glamping experience! Stayed two nights in one of the air streamers. Super cool! The bed is comfortable, AC is great to have! The bathrooms that are shared by the guests staying in the air streamers are very modern and super clean, the hot tub on site is great, the common sun room/ lobby is very nice with cool decor. Everything is modern, clean and thought out. Would definitely recommend this place for fun glamping experience! Thank you!

Beautiful cozy little motel in Salida! Very much a renovated 1950s sort of vibe, friendly staff, great room and exceptional service. Stayed last weekend and would come back in a heartbeat next time we’re in Salida!

The best hotel experience I have ever had. Not only is the staff friendly but they go above and beyond to ensure their guests have everything they need. I would recommend this place to anyone and my husband and I won't be staying anywhere else when in the area.

Amigo just gets it!! Every time we visit it feels just as cool as the first time. They are spot on with the details. We always find an excuse to book a night and hang out. Whether you get an airstream or a hotel room, you won’t be disappointed!

Loved the Francis Airstream! Very Comfortable Beds. Stayed very well heated. Roomier than expected. Very Nice Bathrooms located right outside the airstreams. Hot tub, outdoor seating with fire pits,Lobby, and Sunroom are great extras. Star is very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back again!
