Storii by ITC Hotels, Shanti Morada Goa

Our desire to experience Goan heritage stay lead us to Shanti Morada. Its a restored , renovated property that has history from 1897. It is a beautiful property on a slope, located in quiet neighbourhood surrounded by greenery. The property is well maintained with all facilities for a comfortable stay. Since it has 20 rooms, it is less crowded and quiet. It is very peaceful. The old Goan charm is retained in the dark yellow external walls, tiled roof, wrought iron columns, period furniture, tile patterns on the stairway, well (closed with grill), garden with trees , the Goan windows, door frames and the corridors opening out into the world outside. The attention to details is amazing. The property has a billiards table , a book case with light reading books, clean swimming pool, jacuzzi bar. We found the rooms to be spacious, well ventilated and clean. There is enough parking space. The property story was narrated well by the manager. He and his team were great hosts. The staff are polite , helpful and do their best to make their clients stay comfortable. We got to know them, their life stories and stories of their home towns. We are grateful for the opportunity to engage in conversations with them and learn from them. We enjoyed complimentary breakfast that had variety for vegetarians too. We ate dinner during our stay and explored different cuisine. Tasty food was made to our preferred spice levels. The children loved the safe space , swinging on the indoor period wooden jhula, walking up and down the indoor and outdoor staircases, pool side dinner and breakfast. They were fascinated by the audio Bhagavad Gita. We are glad that we got to experience a peaceful, memorable stay at this beautiful place which was a home to many generations.

The hotel is magnificent especially the staff.. rarely see such friendly staff and that too each and everyone of them. Kudos to the HR team also. Well kept hotel, serene surrounds and they helped me with taxi ride when I was in dire straits. The breakfast by chef Narendra is great too. I will definitely come back ! It was an amazing experience. Will definitely visit again. My kind regards to the team, especially Suraj and Laltu at the Jacuzzi Pool bar. I will definitely visit again, it was a memorable stay. The location of this hotel is also a plus point.

We visited this property on 18th October 2024. A Beautiful property, extremely nice staff. Neat clean & spacious rooms. It's a boutique hotel with 20 rooms and hence the service is very prompt. Food is quite decent but wudnt say a huge spread in breakfast. GM is very humble person , always out to make sure his guest are comfortable.

Amazing property, very clean, lovely staff and customer service. Love the heritage vibe, I personally love antique furniture and was awed with the look. Great and lots of food choice for breakfast. Will definitely return with my family and friends, thank you.

Great staff, well maintained rooms and facilities (pool & jacuzzi withba bar). Lots of classic furniture. Small size (20 rooms) means it has a cozy personal feeling. A reasonable buffet breakfast, and lovely cold coffee available all the time.

Best hospitality ever witnessed in my travelling experience. All staff personnel were so humble and caring . I never felt like staying in hotel but staying at home away from home . My heartiest thanks to all ITC staff members for such a lovely experience.

Our parents reached to Storii Shanti Morada in Calangute inadvertently rather than heading to Storii Rivera. Mr Arpit (GM) kept persuading our parents to stay in his property by misleading them with wrong information about Storii Rivera which is far better property any day. He even asked me to block my card on the call so that the other property can't charge which raised the alarm bell. My parents reached a day prior and I was coordinating with him on a call. He also promised to give us the rooms at the same rate which was quite unacceptable as the rates of Shanti Morada is much lesser than Rivera which is 100 times a better property. Thank God we didn't fall for his cheap tricks to upsell and I asked my parents to move to other property immediately without paying much heed. Our experience at Storii,Rivera was exceptional and I would request the VP to take it up seriously. We would love to stay again in Storii,Rivera.

The Storii by ITC Shanti Morada location in Saligao really offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere, away from the bustling crowds of the main tourist areas. It is conveniently situated within easy reach of popular beaches like Candolim and Calangute, while still providing a tranquil retreat. I really thankful for their warm hospitality and personalized service. They are attentive to guests' needs, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay. Their friendliness and knowledge of the local area are invaluable assets. We are excited to comeback back to Shanti Morada very soon with our friends and families. Highly recommended!!
