I visited Lake Malawi on a day trip from Lilongwe and had lunch at Sunbird Waterfront. I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet lunch, which had so much on offer. The Chambo fish, in particular, was amazing! After the meal, I couldn't resist the urge to take a dip in the fresh water of Lake Malawi. The beach area is so nice and well kept. I was surprised to see that the lake water has some waves, and the splashing water made it much fun to swim. You really feel like you are in the ocean. It was a thrilling experience!

Breathtaking views and it was nice to get upclose and personal. Even though I didn't swim in the Lake, it took my breath away. The food was so-so, but the rooms were absolutely spacious, modern and comfortable. I loved sitting on my balcony as well to lap in the views of the Lake.

It was a great experience, the hospitality was nice as well as the food. Id recommend for small gate aways, a place where you can go to just relax and clear your head.

Everything was Ok only that there was some smell from the rest room on the first day and no snacks on one of the days during my stay

Loved the international standards offered by the hotel yet l was pleasantly impressed with its local hospitality. It felt more home away from home. Proud that Malawi has such facilities and l look forward to seeing the finished construction of the additional wings and conference centre.

It was my first time visiting sunbird waterfront after visiting pretty much all sunbird hotels and resorts. The experience was satisfy and the environment quiet relaxing
