Super 8 by Wyndham Salina/Scenic Hills Area

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very clean and bigger than most. Highly recommend staying here!

So we stayed in Room 2112 in the back building, a double queen, in late June. It was so spacious and from the carpet to the beds to the walls to the bathroom it was all recently renovated I suppose and it was super clean with no sickly chemical odor. The toiletries were nice too! And it just so happened we were there at the same time an old classic car group, CanAm (Canada &US) we’re spending their last night of an annual road trip through some western states and saw some fabulous classic cars too; what a surprise! Good stay. We’ll be back since we travel this way a couple times a year.

At first everything seemed ok. The room wasn't fancy, but it was spacious, appeared clean and had a comfortable lay out for us. But then we pulled out the hide a bed and found mouse feces and that the blanket had been chewed. It was late, we were ready for bed and had children with us, who needed to go to sleep. So my husband and son in law went to the office, and reported the problem. We were offered another room but it was late we were unpacked and the kids were ready for bed. The person at the desk seemed genuinely appalled at the situation and assured us that the manager would make thing right, but they also said that housekeeping was gone for the night so all they could do was to give us fresh bedding. We took the bedding, and changed the sheets, carefully rolling the dirty sheets and blankets up and placing them outside of the room. The next morning we were again assured that the manager would be contacting us. In the two weeks since our stay there, my husband has called the hotel and emailed the address on the manager's business card with no response.

The staff are so efficient and friendly and the rooms are very clean and fresh! Everything looked newly remodeled. We would definitely stay here again! They had hot coffee, waffles, fruit, cereal, juice and yogurt available for breakfast.

Great place to stop for the night on a long road trip. Very convenient location with lots of fast-food type restaurants very close by along with gas stations, convenience stores. Room was immaculate, bed was comfortable, pillows are on the small side (square) but still comfortable. Breakfast was waffle maker, yogurt, apples, oranges and bananas, juice, coffee. I would stay here again.

We haven’t stayed in many Super 8 motels. I’d rate this as one of the nicest ones we’ve been to. The lady who checked us in was very friendly & helpful. Our room was on the backside upstairs. The hotel isn’t new but it’s seems to be fairly well taken care of. The beds were comfortable. As for breakfast in the morning it was rather minimal very limited selection. The eating area is very small. The lady handling the front desk & breakfast was not very friendly. I think she was having a bad morning. Overall we would stay here again.

Stayed overnight on trip across the USA. The location was convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy, However the rooms looked tired and in need of an upgrade. Continental breakfast is included. Reasonably priced and would recommend,
