Courtyard Salisbury

No good smell in the room. I spent only one night there with my colleagues. Ok for a business hotel but the cleanliness has to be improved.

Descent for the money but not great

Lovely staff including Louise and Jenny made our stay great. The mattresses were a little soft but the location was great and it was a perfect location for us. The pool and hot tub were nice. Refrigerator in the room was helpful. TV was internet enabled but small.

Stayed here just one night for a local event. Will look for other places to stay if we need to be in the area again even though we are platinum elite Marriott members. The staff at this hotel doesn’t seem to care. The two young ladies at the front desk barely acknowledged my presence as they checked me in. Just long enough to get my card so they could carry on their conversation, complaining actually about a guest and how many hours they worked. Later when I went downstairs to get something from my car, the same two young women had friends at the desk and they were talking, laughing loud. I’m glad they were having fun at work, I guess just not professional. The room was ok. It was clean. But the shower was very hot very quickly. There was no hair conditioner and no body wash. Very disappointing for a Marriott!

All I can say is DONT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO. you pay $250 for your room and you get no service, even if you ask! It's not advertised anywhere that.they only give you housekeeping service every other day. They are suppose to have a starbucks but they only have regular coffee, their machine doesn't work. Half the stuff on the menu they don't have. People at the front desk are curt and unapologetic for there crappy hotel, like they are programmed to respond in such a manner they have said it so many times! Indoor pool is small and murky and you can see stuff floating on the top and it smells disgusting. I.would not let my son get In it. Why marriott let's this franchise into their family is surprising. So if you don't have to, don't stay at this hotel. No value here

This is a decent hotel but starting to age. Cons first The outlet in our room for the refrigerator didn’t work so we had to move it to get it to work. And even then we think it might have shut off randomly. The TV was really small for the size of the room (hard to read the guide). They only offer breakfast for purchase, but the espresso machine doesn’t work and only saw continental items so if you wanted eggs or oatmeal, that wasn’t available. So basically you can buy a $3 drop coffee and a muffin for breakfast. Pros The staff was nice and responsive. They gave free cookies one night. Lots of good restaurants nearby.

The expresso maker has been inoperative for several months. It was the only reason we stayed at this below average hotel. After being refurbished several years ago, the condition of the place has steadily deteriorated. The building itself is quite old and shows its age.

Absolutely the worst Marriott location we’ve stayed at world wide! Disgusting!!!! The room was not ready when we arrived late at night, even though we’d made our reservations months in advance. After a long day of driving, we wanted some sleep. Instead, it was 45min before they hurriedly & spontaneously, got a room ready. When we got inside we found only one bath towel and a couple of hand towels for three adults. I’m not sure if it was a good thing that it was dark and late, and we just crashed in bed, because the next morning I discovered why the room was “not clean” when we arrived. Picture the worst, shadiest part of your town and put a roadside motel there, that’s what we discovered. The floor and couch were stained and unkempt and the floor was sticky!! The mattress makes me want to set myself on fire that I actually slept in it, even if it was covered by what looked like clean linens. Marriott will be hearing about this stay. NEVER AGAIN!!!! DISGUSTING!!!

This is a tired hotel that apparently gets a lot of use. Was upgraded to a suite based on status. Front desk staff was pleasant. Bistro wasn’t open at night, and there were so many issues at breakfast that I left for Starbucks (1 Mile away). The room was just ok. Overly soft mattress, wall mounted heat controls for 1 room - unit mounted for the other. Space next to mini fridge was very dirty (see pics). The care (or lack of care) in mounting the soap and shampoo in the bath tell the whole so-so story (see pics). Would not return to this property.
