This hotel was beautiful inside and out so clean the rooms was perfect the location was 5 mins from the strip of bars shops bank restaurants and about the same to the beautiful beach I have been to salou a few times and I would definitely say this hotel is the best. I would definitely return

Came to Salou first time & the hotel was amazing. Staff were very friendly and remember who you are. Grounds are super clean with the rooms cleaned daily. We went All Inclusive and it did not disappoint, you get some names spirits on the bar also with this board and the food...well the food alone should be 5 stars!!! There is a huge variety to choose from with different themed nights! Friday night & Sunday with the roast beast was just the best!! All the meat they serve just melts in your mouth!! Rooms are lovely and modern with a huge tv, Entertainment is second to none. The shows that were there were again 5star shows. Magic shows, Quizzes', Bingo, Staff shows. All Amazing...Already booked again for August this year (2025) And we simply cannot wait!!

This hotel is excellent. Very close to shopping and beach. Literally 5 mins. The decor in rooms is modern. Great fridge, safe, and tv with you tube, Netflix, channels. Went half board and breakfast and dinner very good. Great variety and you won't be stuck for something to eat. Staff all very friendly. 4 pools to choose from. Great gym also. Was there when the power outage happened all over Spain, Portugal etc and was handled well. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Golden Port Salou and Spa......Fabulous hotel, food excellent, rooms clean and well equipped, staff friendly. I can not recommend enough. My son loved the football pitch / basketball ball court. We had a great time, a brilliant family hotel.

This hotel is literally our home away from home we have stayed at least 4 years running. This year we have returned once again this time only with my son. I would never travel to salou and think about booking any other hotel and that's a promise everything from the extremely friendly ladies on reception to every single member of the restaurant from the front doors of the restaurant to the cooks prepping the food. Maintenance mechanics very professional and friendly also. I've took my 5 year old son to salou for the first time and as much as I have regretted not going all inclusive as my son has found some sort of comfort being around this hotel which isn't like him so we have been living out of the hotel which has been slightly more expensive for drink etc compared to some local bars in the town. Prices are some what justified by the service that we received time and time again. We run into issues with my son losing room key where a replacement was issued at the click of a fingers. We had a problem with room safe not unlocking and withing 4-5 minutes of reporting issue we had a maintenance mechanic arrive and rectified the issue within seconds. The ladies who maintain the room are extremely professional and carry out a very good job (I hate untidy rooms) and thankfully never had to worry about this. Fresh towels and bedding made each day unless requested otherwise. Genuinely faultless work and deserve the praise. We are due to arrive in may to salou again just myself and my partner and of course back to golden port Salou which was an easy decision. We had only took breakfast with previous stay but we were more than happy with the breakfast with two fussy eaters and we had no issues getting a lovely breakfast each morning. This time around I think we may enquire about an all inclusive add on if possible as we enjoy spending our time in this hotel over going to restaurants who serve some sub standard food. I've reviewed this several days before leaving due to the recognition it deserves and we are already looking forward to returning and hopefully enjoying a more relaxed and child free holiday which we always enjoy. I had an absolutely fantastic stay here and genuinely did not find fault with anything. The staff were outstanding – warm, welcoming, and really went out of their way to make my stay special. I was especially impressed when the restaurant team greeted me by first name. The entertainment was excellent and added so much to the experience. The food was amazing, a fantastic variety and everything I tried was absolutely delicious. Although I was only there for three days, I truly wish I'd stayed longer. I’ll definitely be back soon. Thank you to all the team for such a lovely stay!

This hotel has everything you need, location, excellent food, and 5* staff. This was my wife and I second time to stay here and we can easily see why we chose it again this year. Even though it was only Easter the hotel was hopping. The dining room was full for all meals and the way the room is controlled makes it so easy.

A fantastic week spent at Golden Port Salou & Spa! We came as a family of 5 (4 adults and a toddler) and we loved the hotel. Food was fantastic each night, with a huge variety of different options to choose from, salads, soups, breads, 3 or 4 different hot counters as well as ice creams, yogurts, fresh fruit and about 10+ options for desserts. Breakfast the same, continental was great and plenty of fresh hot choices! We have loved the evening entertainment. As a family we normally venture out of the hotel a lot on previous holidays, but this time we have spent so much time at the hotel because the entertainment was fantastic. The Polynesian dancers, the Violinist at Gregal, the circus acts, everything was worthy of staying and watching! Drinks prices were so very reasonable, and made us want to stick around in the evenings as it was a great atmosphere (loved Cafe Gregal) and prices were almost half that of the town centre bars. The indoor pool was a delight on the overcast/cloudy October days and the Aqua Gym was fantastic. A note to say that the staff were so warm & friendly, especially the entertainment staff. It does state online that the air con is only until September, but it was kept on for our October stay which we were so happy about! Also there’s never any rush for sun beds, there are so many located around the numerous pools which was a relief! We wouldn’t hesitate to choose this hotel again for our next family visit to Salou, it’s been great!

Went for a short break. Hotel is amazing and clean. Exactly as described. Located a little back from the main area about a 10 min walk from main beach area. Reception staff helpful and restaurant staff attentive. ROOM - modern second floor pool view. Large shower, double and single bed. Fridge big enough for a few drinks and sandwich bits. Nespresso machine and kettle. Safe is free to use. We paid for a pool view room but we ended up with a tree in front of us so a little cheeky charging for a view that was not really there. Be careful with rooms above the bar as I can imagine they are noisy when entertainment is on. BAR- nightly entertainment is a bit Butlins but fine. Drinks reasonable. POOL - a number of them. Main one had plenty of loungers and a good mix of shade and sun. Far too many children though spoilt it. There are other pools that could be made for children only. RESTAURANT - The quality of the breakfast and dinner was amazing. Pancakes and omelettes cooked in front of you. Fruit, pastries, salad and full English with brown sauce. Dinner had so much choice and so fresh with meat cooked in front of you. It was busy and no surprise why. Dinner at €18 which was great value. My advice is book a pool view but ask for a main pool view and book half board at least. The food in Salou town is awful. 90% of restaurants have the same menu and look to be owned by the same company. Not really any independent Spanish restaurants to be found. Snack food and a fry up can be found in town but I would eat at the hotel for breakfast and dinner (tea if you’re from Yorkshire).

Great hotel Good location, right next to Salou town centre via exit from back door at the in house cafe. Spotless hotel Friendly staff. I would have given five stars, but the animation team wasnt the best but to be fair its early in the season. Difficult to judge that. Food was really good. Lots of choice and varied menu's. All in all, I would strongly recommend this hotel for all. Enjoy.

Located just off the main strip in Salou. With a handy "back door" that leads you to the main strip in a few mins. Every member of staff, without exception, was helpful and friendly. How those restaurant staff maintain their energy levels is beyond me. The hotel has some very modern and well presented areas, yet some dated areas. However, without exception, the hotel was clean. The family suites are located in a separate building, an old hotel, I believe, but has been extensively updated - well, the public areas. Connected to the main hotel via a covered walkway. We stayed in the main hotel, and the room was modern with a modern TV with streaming services, Amazon, Netflix, YouTube, and Disney available. The odd thing was that the bathroom was dated. Clean but totally out of character with the room. Superb air conditioning. The room had a small fridge and a kettle with tea and coffee. Rooms cleaned daily. Food is always a personal choice, but you are seated, so no hassle of wandering about looking for a table. We went half board, and without exception, the food every day was hot, tasty, and cooked to a high standard. Knocks spots off other HB hotels locally. Will suit even the most fussiest eater. Really liked the water fountains dotted about and free water in the restaurant

2nd year staying at Golden port as a family last year we took my dad to join our family this year was my mum but we loved it last year this year we went all inclusive and the rooms were highly refurbished and the hotel within itself looked amazing as always the food is always amazing and the entertainment we found some where hit and miss this year you need to bring back games night red and blue team as was a good laugh last year we always love the freddi mercury tribute but overall the staff in the hotel are the nicest and loveliest bunch of people hats off to the go fun staff Juan Antonio, Christina, Raquel, Alba & Irene are all amazing with our kids and the fun we even have taking part in activities only suggestion and advice is they need to keep rules the same in the games as caused some disputes some people take them more serious than others but other than that the love we have for the staff from reception to restaurant gregal bar and even our housekeeper she was brillant at cleaning our rooms 216 & 215 and the kids club staff are all amazing we have already booked for next year again ✈️ thanks so much see u next time Ps yous should get a laundry room like the Avenida would be good for the hotel to have

Brilliant hotel thoroughly enjoyed it stayed 1st week in August with family we really liked it not any complaints (contrary to some recent reviews) my opinion, but staff very kind polite and friendly the cleaners in daily rooms are spotless. Food in restaurant for me, very good choice for everyone all ages and even if fussy tastes. Staff attentive. We didn’t stay much at night for the entertainment but always busy, violin night was good, in daytime the aqua aerobics in the pool was fun we mostly sunbathed outside the family suites pool and at the Gregal Bar area, also good food in there for lunchtime or an afternoon. Never sunbathed at the top of the hotel area but choice of 7 pools indoor is nice for a swim, lovely experience in the hotel can’t complain. Would definitely come back for me if was rated recently #1 in Salou and it felt like it. Very modern, comfy bed what else can you ask for. Good walking distance from most amenities..
