Hotel incroyable

We are currently sat waiting for our transfer back to the airport, but our stay here at Olympus Palace was AMAZING! Hotel rooms are clean and modern, our balcony faced out onto the strip of shops and restaurants, wasn’t loud at night as others had mentioned. Room was cleaned and beds made daily with fresh towels. It was my birthday on one of the days and in the morning we had a knock at the door where they’d brought me a tray of chocolate truffles, was a really nice surprise. Pool area isn’t too busy, never struggled to get sun beds for myself, husband and 4 year old daughter. My little one isn’t the strongest swimmer and they had no problems with her having an inflatable ring in the pool. Always a lifeguard around the pool who is lovely. I will say that if you leave your towels on the bed for over an hour without returning, she is a bit savage and will remove them but that is more than fair enough. The restaurant here is lovely, breakfast was our favourite, little one loved the watermelon. We were only half board so had only breakfast and dinner. Dinner time had a lot of options if you like fish (which unfortunately my family don’t really like), all smelt fresh and lovely. We only had dinner here once as we preferred to go out to a restaurant down the road which is our personal choice. The staff here are lovely, always have a smile on their face. Reception area is very modern and clean, sofas are extremely comfy which is lovely as we can just relax before our flight home. Location is brilliant! Not even a 10 min walk down to the beach (even with our 4 year old who gets distracted very quickly). Little fun fair right outside the hotel was a massive added bonus when having a small child, lots of arcade machines as well. My overall rating for this hotel is 10/10, will most definitely be returning when we come back to Salou!

The hotel on first impression is beautiful staff are great until they realise your English. I think there are 3 on reception and in the bar that make an effort to talk to you. The food is varied but always cold so you get a well cooked chicken breast in sauce and it’s cold it’s the same for everything unless you go to the grill. Better going down the street to one of the cafes Salou is beautiful but I won’t return to this hotel

This is a lovely modern looking hotel and looks impressive at first but after staying here for a week half of which it was raining and cold, it’s not very practical. Pros - friendly staff, pool areas beautiful, location spot on, beds very comfy, Donna cleaned daily, drinks at bar very reasonably priced, there was noise but once doors shut it wasn’t an issue for us and couldn’t hear people either side of us. Cons- rooms very basic and nothing in them to live for a week, absolutely nothing to do in rubbish wether, one pool table that’s it. Entertainment didn’t start until 10pm and lasted an hour If you are adults staying here would be good but defo not for families. Also not a good hotel to stay at if self catering which we were as there is literally nothing in the rooms and no space.

Lovely hotel clean staff are good food well there is so much choice even fussy people can find something level 4 on strip no noise when door shut at all lived it would definitely go back Only negatives no storage for clothes and staying sat afternoon til sat morn we can’t have brekkie on morn of departure very good location free safe asked for kettle got one of them delivered to room asap read a review on here about tv which helped remote has a speak bubble button which turns talking to English really good

I’ve just returned home from a week long stay at Hotel Olympus Palace , Salou and it was such a lovely experience I’m moved to write this review. The hotel is very clean , modern and comfortable. The rooms are well equipped , spacious and clean. The roof pools are clean and the live music Sunday lunch time a delight . The evening entertainment is good also. The staff looked after us with great care . A very good team . The cleaners are excellent . Last but certainly not least , The restaurant was amazing , the food was delicious, fresh and plenty of choice and options . It has the feel , look and service of a high quality restaurant . There is lots to do without leaving the comfort of the Hotel . Lounges , very good gym . The chefs and dinner service was brilliant , prompt and very good . This honestly is the most lovely Hotel we have stayed . It was surprisingly good weather October and was not crowded in any way . Plenty of space to relax and enjoy .
