Can’t believe some of the complaints I’m reading. Honestly laughable. Stayed here for 3 nights with my partner and couldn’t fault one thing about the place. Rooms are modern and spotless. Air con works a treat and able to cool the room very quickly. Pool area was clean and always sunbeds available, pool snacks and drinks were good and never had to wait too long. Staff friendly and always looking to help. Security guard at the front gate at all times too, if you’re conscious about things like that. Enjoyed it that much we’ve book on again for September. This time 7 adults 4 kids. Can’t wait!

I stayed here with my family in September 2024, the pool and decor are modern and clean, the pools are good for kids however this has been the worst hotel I have ever stayed in for customer service. The staff are awful! So rude and obnoxious towards everyone. Every interaction we had with them throughout our weeks stay was disappointing and unpleasant. The bar staff are rude and argumentative with not even basic manners of please and thank you. The lifeguards are virtually useless and stand around on their phones (my husband had to intervene when a young child was struggling in the water and when someone smashed a glass in the toddler pool area, myself and other guests had to clean it up, again whilst the lifeguard did nothing but look on). The rooms are modern but tiny, it was very claustrophobic. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone. Use your hard earned money and stay somewhere that appreciates your business.

Hotel staff are rude and a complete disgrace (especially Grace on reception and the person ticking you off for food). Son being violently sick, no support. No manager on site, no cleaning facilities to clean the room. One person on reception. Food awful, inedible in parts. Likely cause for vomiting. You can hear every single sound from rooms above and outside. This hotel is at best a one star when you look beyond the surface. Salou is also dirty and disgusting. Will NEVER return to either this hotel or the area itself

Lovely family hotel, great pool and entertainment. Love the environment aspect with reusable cups etc. The doors can be tricky to lock so worth double checking your room is shut! Son loved the mini disco each night, really friendly helpful staff in reception, restaurant and bar. Pool is brill small splash park with slides all shallow for young ones and great pool area for older children too with slides and an inflatable. Air con in the rooms is fab.

I have just spent a week here with my daughter. We had a lovely stay. The room was clean and the staff were happy to clean your room every day. The hotel is beautiful - We were in room 309 and even had a good bit of sun to be able to sun bathe outside my room. We were ground floor which suited us perfectly as my daughter is autistic. The location is great as well, only a short walk to lots of shops and restaurants. While I am impressed with the rooms and the hotel itself there were a few things that I must honestly review. The food was not great. We were half board so had breakfast and dinner included in our booking. Almost every day, I wasn't keen on the food. Not much variety and often food was cold. The timetable and getting your card signed is also something I've never had to do visiting a hotel. I feel that guests should be able to go and eat when they want to. Our set time was quite a busy time for guests to eat and often became overwhelming for my daughter. She only ate cucumber and tomatoes which is fine and she does this back home too. She wanted to leave and I took her plate back to our room so she could eat comfortably. The staff member told me we couldn't take her plate back but after I explained that she had autism and the restaurant was too busy and another guest also came to say they understand this, she let us take the plate back which I am grateful for. I didn't use the bar often but you need to pay 1€ for a cup, you will get this back when you return the cups. I left our cups and receipts in the room as the bar was closed when I checked out. The pool is brilliant, it has lots of fun things for kids and my daughter loved the inflatable. I will say that the pool is very cold so I myself couldn't bear it for longer than a few minutes. You get fresh towels every 2 days and bedding is changed every 3 days. Not so much an issue in October but I think it hotter months these should be changed when requested by guests. The staff were also very helpful and brought me ice for my daughters foot after she had a fall outside of the hotel. She was fine. Overall we had a fantastic time. I will give this a 4/5 rating. I will definitely book this hotel again in the future based on how lovely and clean it is, the great location and the lovely staff. I would book room only next time and eat out with the hotel.

This was our second time this year to stay at Alannia Salou. We chose to come back due to the efficient way the resort is run. It’s spotless clean very safe and secure. Lots of activities for families. Late evening entertainment for kids and the pool bars cocktails are fab as is their snacks. The resort has bus stop right outside and is walking distance to the main strip. PortAventura is only 10mins away. We will definitely be back.
