The Anniversary Inn - South Temple

I've stayed 3 times at this hotel for work events and really liked it until I prepaid for a stay I had to reschedule later. When trying to reschedule it after receiving a check in email, their email doesn't work, and I called 9+ times over the course of 3 days and no one picked up the phone. I received a text confirming my check-in (while I was not there) and it mentioned I could text back. So I did, explaining my attempts to reschedule and nada. No reply. I didn't want a refund, I just wanted change my date and they made sure to ignore me, effectively forfeiting my stay, which was already paid for. I'm so bummed, but I won't be coming back here. That is NOT how you treat repeat bookers. I had had the idea to book a different room each stay too since I visit SLC for work 3-4 times a year. But NOPE! Not cool.

Terrible Experience it was a very disappointing experience. The room was filthy, freezing cold, and lacked basic toiletries like soap and shampoo. When I asked the front desk for soap, they gave me body lotion and told me to use it to wash my hands. The bathroom had a terrible odor, and despite contacting the manager, the service remained unhelpful. Would not recommend this hotel.

Besides not mentioning that the rooms are only accessible by stairs which was very difficult for my disabled husband, the rooms are definitely not worth the price. The hairball in the tub, the stained robe, no in room coffee. Breakfast would be nice with more than 1 cup of coffee. Won’t stay again.

Staff was very informative and very nice. The themed rooms were fun. It was nice that they brought breakfast to the room, breakfast was just ok but better than a bowl of cereal. Had to find buttons on TV to change input to DVD, the remote didn’t work for that. I would recommend this to anyone for an adventure.

Outdated but good location Spent 1 night for our anniversary. Location was walking distance to our fav Thai place. TV was not 40” as advertised and the fireplace didn’t work. We couldn’t connect our Apple TV to the WiFi. Tub only fit 1 adult.

We stayed at the south temple location. We did a pre check in and said we would be there at 5:00. We came later at 6:45 and was told our room wasn’t ready and we had to wait 30 more minutes, finally getting to our room at 7:15. The room had zero sound proofing, hearing all the cars on the road next door. In the morning they brought breakfast and had a used salsa included with breakfast. Trying to leave there was a car parked behind us blocking us in. I had to go back in and the front desk said, “oh, that’s probably the housekeeper, I’ll have her move”. They sent me a survey and I let them know of the issues, with no one ever getting back to me. To top it off we used a gift card and had a zero balance on our invoice, and then 2 weeks later I noticed a charge of 217.00. Would never stay here again and would advise anyone else to save your money and stay somewhere nicer.
