房間大小可以，就是整體樓梯有點老，沒有電梯，但是也不影響，是另外一種體驗，也不錯…
就是床太小，其他都很好…

What a fabulous, traditional, British hotel! Quaint, slightly tired but not detracting from it's charm at all! We visited with a large group for a Regimental reunion, so at least 40 of us. No pressure for the hotel! Couldn't fault them at all, high tea, drinks, canapés, evening meal, all excellent! Followed by breakfast the next day! The staff were lovely, friendly, funny and efficient. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious.

We love this hotel and have stayed on three occasions. The last time we booked 3 nights Dinner Bed & Breakfast. As always, the room was spotlessly clean and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was with the food. At first, we had no complaints but on the third evening, dinner was disappointing. It was the same menu as the day before which wasn't a problem but it appeared to be leftovers which had been heated up. Our desserts were almost inedible (a chocolate tart which was impossible to cut even with a knife and a lemon drizzle cake which was extremely dry . This was very disappointing as it spoilt an otherwise lovely stay.

Having visited this hotel several times over the years it is good to see the same high standards maintained. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and the superb food is served on immaculate white tablecloths in a relaxing atmosphere. We love this hotel.

We have stayed here a few times now over the past couple of years. We are always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. We find all staff we have encountered during our stays from reception, bar and housekeeping etc as polite and friendly. The hotel is an attractive, historic building on pretty grounds amongst nature and wildlife. It’s in a great location, there is plenty of seating options outside and a good sized car park. Most of the rooms have a great view overlooking the grounds and watching the birds flying in and around. We recently stayed here enjoying the Pimm’s and platter offer on a sunny afternoon, which was relaxing. Breakfast is well organised, nicely presented consisting of a buffet of cold options, and in addition that a hot food order. Thank you once again for a pleasant stay and we hope to book again soon.

We had the usual comfort and attendance as we usually do. A little disappointed at slight signs of downgrading where the menu used to change daily and was unchanged during he three days we were there. Also there was no proper beer available, only the fizzy stuff. At least one draft beer should be available. The windows in our room need some attention as some could not be opened. This has been the case for some years but seems to be getting worse.

We love Grinkle and it’s the first place I, and we as friends, think of going when we want a little break. This time, we were 3 ladies, just having a night away to catch up and relax. Which we did. We all had lovely rooms (a room each due to snoring) and appreciated the warm welcome from the receptionist and the grounds and general ambience of the hotel. Dinner options were what we wanted and we enjoyed our food. All of us had a good sleep due to the quiet and comfy beds and pillows and the breakfast was brilliant. HOWEVER, why does the hotel think it acceptable to charge £42 (plus service charge) for a bottle of wine which is on sale in a well known supermarket for the princely sum of £7? We completely understand that profits have to be made, we get the top has to be unscrewed and the glasses provided need washing up, but £42? To be frank, it’s why we didn’t order a second bottle, and will think twice about booking to stay again. We’re not mean or poverty stricken we just don’t like having the mickey taken. Shame, really.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Grinkle Park hotel Nr Whitby, N Yorkshire. Easy parking on arrival. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and professional. Our meals at breakfast and in the evening were delicious and nicely served. A great place to stay when visiting Whitby and the surrounding area.

We stopped for one night, which was a wonderful relaxing time, in such a lovely secluded location exactly as described Everything was excellent with the hotel rooms and communal rooms, especially sat in front of an open fire in hotel bar/ reception, after a lovely evening meal in the restaurant. Breakfast too was very good with again lovely helpful friendly staff. We highly recommend this hotel
