Days Inn by Wyndham San Angelo

The facility looked nice and the lobby was clean. I made reservations through Trip.com for check in May 12 and check out May 14 2022. We had a change in schedule, I contacted Trip.com and told him we wouldn't be arriving until Friday May 13 . I was put on hold, so the chande could be made. I was told everything was modified and received a new booking number. Got to the hotel Friday afternoon and was told the reservation was canceled because I didn't show up on Thursday May 12. The town was a small college town and it was graduation weekend and no rooms were available at the hotel or another hotels in the area. Luckily my son and his family were staying at a different hotel and we were able to stay in their room. The hotel did reimburse me for the cost of the room.

The price looks tempting, but you get nothing for your money. Room, bathroom and living quarters are filthy. Not for human use.

Room 216, The smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag and electrical tape.There were bugs, and hair on the bathroom floor, and a pee stain on the sheets of one of the beds that I didn't notice until I laid down.. The wall had blood on it. We called the front desk and we were moved to room 218. The coffee pot had mold growing in it. The floors were dirty. Pee and bugs behind the toilet, shower curtain was filthy. Called the front desk and she offered a 20% discount. Not good enough. Talked to Karen that we were told was the manager, told her I wanted a refund and asked her how she would feel if she said in someone else's urine. She asked if it was wet or dry like that makes a difference. She told me to talk to the front desk in the morning. We did, the lady there was nice but called the new owner/manager, to my number and he was supposed to call back. I'm still waiting on that phone call. DO NOT STAY HERE. THEY ARE DISGUSTING WITH NO ACCOUNTABILITY. I HAVE PICTURES AND A VIDEO. 9-13-2024 CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT 9-15-2024.

Bed was somewhat saggy.Pool needed vacuumed. All in all not a bad place location is great with food and shopping near

Easy to get to, old but clean, will use again. I recommend you try and be surprised. Looking for a bargain priced room, then look no farther.

Room was supposed to be non-smoking. But we could smell that there had been smoking for many years in that room. Got another room. But here it was the same. My wife has COPD, so can not sleep in a room with an air like that. So we cancelled and went to another place.

We have stayed at this hotel many times but will not stay there again. It has been bought by someone else and things have gone done a great deal. Mostly the breakfast was one of the biggest changes. No juice, no yogurt, no fruit no pastry, coffee ran out, lady at front desk was complaining loudly during the whole time we were eating. one good thing, mattress was wonderful in our room but in my daughters room it was old and very lumpy. Their room was smelly, ours was not. Yes we had two rooms.

The motel served my purpose (sleep) while I was in San Angelo for craft show however if you are looking for a place with family atmosphere this probably would not fit your needs. The pool area is a disgusting mess! It's overgrown, there's nasty water in the pool, and it smells terrible!

Room 108 was dirty, 107 had a man screaming over the phone, coffee pot did not work in 108 or 109, no blankets! Specifically asked for non smoking down and noted that it was for an elderly person that could not climb stairs and when we got there, they had the non smoking room upstairs. Luckily they were able to fix the situation. Never staying there again. Do not recommend, it's went way down hill.
