Hilton Garden Inn San Antonio Airport South, TX

Great spot

Hotel is nice and well maintained and the staff was pleasant. However, there is a totally BS parking charge of $8 for no apparent reason. The Homewood nextdoor doesn't charge it and there is no reason for this charge. We had a king suite that worked well for our family

As soon as we walked into the door, we were hit with a terrible soap odor that gave me a massive migraine. We got our key cards and went up to our room and the room has an even worse odor. I had to spray my perfume all around the room to somewhat drown out the smell and it still smells. The rooms look nice but it’s the smell that is killing me. I suffer from migraines already and this brought out a terrible one for me.

Nice Hilton Garden Inn, convenient to the San Antonio Airport. Employees were great, and the room was very nice (was upgraded as a Hilton Diamond member). The breakfast was really well done, and I would absolutely stay at this property again!

My family of three stayed at this hotel to be close to the airport for arrival and departure days. I thought because it was downtown and near an airport, it would be “subpar”, but the hotel, staff and location were all great! We stayed there twice in one week and both times were excellent experiences and we will stay there again. Our short time in the hotel did not allow us to use any of the amenities, but our room, hallways, lobby, and elevators were all great. Clean, quiet and the price was excellent!!

Save your money and AVOID this place. Front desk people are without good manners. Last night my room did not have a working ac, it was hot that I woke up with a headache and had to shower with cold water to cool off. They sent a guy to look at the ac around 7am, he said it is working and the moment he left the temperature went even higher! Stay there at your own risk, you ve been warmed

My flight was delayed and I had no luggage. The staff provided needed toiletries as well as gave me extra time to check out in order to wait for my luggage to arrive. Crystal was super friendly!! Location is VERY close to the airport and easily accessible.

We stayed here last year and thought we had found the perfect hotel for quick airport access--both for ourselves and my mom--when we have early flights. This year when we checked in we were informed that they no longer had an airport shuttle, but instead user Uber (they incur the cost). We had a lot of luggage for an international flight--it was clearly visible to the person at the desk who was setting up the Uber appointment. I asked twice about getting a vehicle that would fit all of our luggage plus the three of us and was reassured that an XL car was being requested. Well, the next morning when we went downstairs at 5am to catch our ride, a 4 door sedan was waiting for us--zero chance of fitting us plus our luggage, so the car left. There was also another guest who was in a frenzy as the same thing had happened to her and she was delayed getting to the airport. The guy at the front desk was not overly concerned about the mistake and our need to get to the airport. There was no XL vehicle in a nearby radius so he just kind of shrugged his shoulders and said "of well". I had to tell him to request two sedans so we could split up our luggage. This Uber concept is ridiculous and completely unreliable. In addition, the overall cleanliness of the hotel had declined since our last visit. When we checked in around 5pm there was a dirty plate with old scrambled eggs sitting on a hallway table on our floor. When we left the next morning at 5am...still there. We will be finding a new airport hotel.

The first night we bought 2 bottles of water and 1 cola, and they cost me 9 dollars.Then the next morning my child went and bought the same things,but the reception let him pay 10 dollars??? we won’t go there again because the service there was so bad!
