Mormoraia

We had a fantastic stay at Mormoraia! The property has the most stunning views of the Tuscany countryside. The rolling hills with vineyards, farms and olive trees just make it look so magical. The town of San Gimignano sits in the distance and makes a beautiful backdrop with its medieval towers. The staff were all amazing and went out of their way to accommodate our every need. Eugenio was so helpful and fun to be around. The rooms were decorated in a modern style with an old world feel. They were clean with comfortable beds. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning with delicious pastries and croissants. They would even make made to order omelets. The lunch and dinners were great as well. We did a wine tour with Julia and she was lovely. She explained the history of the property and all the details about the wines made on site. We tasted 3 reds and 3 whites and had a yummy charcuterie to pair with the wines. So convenient with the winery on the property. We also enjoyed the gorgeous pool. It was so peaceful and relaxing on our sunny days. This property is an hour from Florence and a great location to visit Siena (30 minutes away)or 10 minutes into San Gimignano. The only thing we would change about our stay was we would have stayed longer had we known how amazing Mormoraia was! We highly recommend staying here. We will be back!
