Caravelle Inn Extended Stay recensioner

The facility is okay. The bed is pretty comfy. Not too many amenities but the price is pretty cheap.

Checked in agent was rude. Got in from work in the evening. People in the parking lot drinking and loud. Guest in rooms next to me using ***** and ppl coming and going all night. music after 11pm. Room smelt like cigarettes and BO. Carpet was dirty. I ended up staying down the street in my car for the night. Checked out the following day.

3 days, no extra towel. I have to request towel and tissue by myself. No wifi (there is, but meaningless)

This is a nice hotel to stay within walking distance from San Jose Airport even though we need 40min + walk... My room had hard floor but missed hair dryer.

The front desk manager was extremely understanding of our situation and worked with me more so than other hotel I’ve stayed at

It was ok not too bad the only thing that suck’s is that they have a room with a KITCHEN but there are NO GLASSES, NO PLATE’s, NO CUP’s, NO UTENSIL’s, NO POT’s, NO OVEN RACK’s and NO nothing to use to cook. The only thing they have is ICE TRAY’s, they also have COFFEE POT but NO COFFEE.

I hate when i say bad about something but this motel should check hot water? Not working?

Worst place I have ever stayed in. never again.

My stay at Caravelle Inn was awful. I had arrived from the airport with one hour to spare from my check in time (3pm) and after asking the man at the front desk if I could have an early check, he completely went ballistic and started yelling at me saying he had no rooms that were ready and that I should stop asking the same questions over and over again (when all I had asked was for a 1-hour early check-in, twice). I have never been treated with such disrespect and hostility by any establishment. What’s worse is we had no place to stay so we were forced to wait until the rooms were ready. Not a great start to my trip at SJ. The rooms themselves were dingy and outdated. Everything just went south. The wifi didn’t reach our room, which was a big inconvenience since I didn’t have free data, but all they said they would do is restart it which unfortunately did nothing. Our bathroom had holes in the wall and the floors were cracked and dirty. The TV was programmed from years ago so there was really nothing to do besides sleep. The bed was alright but the sheets just seemed like they were half-washed. The pillows had an old smell to them. Overall, I would give this motel a 0/5 stars. It was a huge let down considering I’ve been to nicer motels that were way more affordable. I had contacted trip.com about my experience with the guy at the front desk but they weren’t able to refund me for my trip, I would’ve gladly stayed at a motel 6 over this place. The only good thing out of this experience was Micky who worked at the front desk. She was really sweet and patient. I would not recommended anyone to stay here, please use your money elsewhere!

Location was the best . Just needed more attention to details
