Alpine Hotel Gran Foda'

The hotel is really nice and everything is perfect except the food. We loved the location in the middle of the slopes and forest, the interier is lovely and the staff was nice. For breakfast there were two salamis and few sorts of cheeses (no taste), no orange juice (just pear), just boiled eggs, no Nutela, no spreads. And one day they decided there will be no meat day and there weren’t any different dishes because of that - just two salamis were missing. For dinner there were many courses but we were disappointed as we know Italian food and we love it, but these was not what we expected. In the bathroom there was a window in the shower, looking directly to the ski slopes, with no curtains at all.

This hotel is amazing! The staff is fantastic, the location perfect and the food delicious. My wife and I had the best week. Big thanks to all the staff. We hope to visit this hotel again, maybe in the summer or next year. Ci vediamo presto! ciao

We came a long way for a ski vacation in the Dolomite Mountains and we chose the Alpine Hotel GRAN FODÁ as our base. The location of the hotel is just perfect in terms of both the incredible breathtaking scenery and views around as well as the proximity to the Ruis cable car which takes the skiers up to the Kronplats ski resort. The hotel is located few kilometers above the village of San Vigilio di Marebbe, in South Tyrol, Italy of course. The hotel itself is a new hotel with beautiful modern style and it is noticeable that the owner thought of every detail. The hotel is clean and tidy all over. Our room was spacious, very cosy, very clean and the ski room was just across the hall. The hotel stuff and among them Cristina the owner, Anuk, Angelo were all very friendly, inviting and they work hard to make our stay pleasant. Dinner is very varied rich with 5 courses chef meal. Every day is a different surprise worth waiting for. Vegetables are always served. Breakfast is very rich and the dining room is beautifully decorated watching directly to the enormous mountains through huge panorama windows. We loved it. We are so happy that we chose that hotel, we had the best ski vacation and we would love to come back.

A beautiful Hotel, Lots of wood glass, great views of the mountains and Milky Way. The room was beautifully decorated in gray and beige tones, lovely material, beds were really comfortable. Bathroom New and very clean. All amenities available. We ate half- board and the dinner was delicious and table set beautifully. Wonderful wine card, priced fairly, dessert was amazing. We walked to the cable car up to Corones. UNFORTUNATELY no discount for the ride. Plentiful parking, cool e-bikes available. A bit isolated but very nice and accomodating hosts.. great service,, nice library and info brochures to help get to know the region.. would gladly go back for a special treat.

Un grazie speciale a tutto lo staff, gentilissimo, sempre disponibile e prontissimo a facilitare l'organizzazione di un super weekend di relax! Abbiamo trascorso due giorni di piacere, coccolati da un ambiente accogliente e confortevole e dalla meravigliosa cucina di un ottimo chef. Idromassaggio e sauna la ciliegina sulla torta, così come l'accesso diretto alle piste! Speriamo di tornare prestissimo.

Albergo direttamente sulle piste, sei avvolto dalle montagne con un panorama mozzafiato che si può ammirare sia dalla terrazza che dalle meravigliose vetrate interne sia dal ristorante che dal salotto ! Ambiente familiare e conviviale, ottima ristorazione e bravi collaboratori!
