MPT Gateway Retreat, Sanchi

A nice property very near to sanchi stupas. Food is good, though tandoor items were not available during our stay. The resort has reasonable open area within its campus and has good parking space ***** with nice little swimming pool and a small gym. The staff was courteous. Rooms have good space, though finish of the rooms are not upto the mark.

Property location is good, property is very old so not easy to maintain properly. Plumbing is very poor & faced very bad experience by unable to use wash room & huge wastage of water for > 4 hrs onwards! staff is very humble & remain humble to serve with limited resource availability. State govt/tourism to look in such valuable properties & allocate budget to well maintain.

Mpt gateway has the potential to be a great hotel. It has an excellent location close to sanchi stupa. The rooms were adequate. The restaurant and bar were nice though the service was slow despite there not being many guests. The staff were helpful in arranging an autorickshaw for us to see the stupas at sanchi, sonari and satdhara. I think that mpt gateway is a government owned hotel and like other government owned enterprises it can benefit from some additional investments.

The mp t property at sanchi is located close to the stupas. It has some extra facilities like a gym, restaurant and bar as well. There is ample parking available. The rooms were spacious with all the amenities one would expect at this price. The staff is very well-behaved and attentive. The food in the restaurant is also good.

Overall experience good. Food is quite expensive. Location and all are best service is also good. More time required to prepare food
