We stayed at Hatten Hotel in Malacca and found it super convenient—right in the middle of everything, from shopping malls to historical spots. Our room was spacious and comfy, with great views over the harbour . The food in the restaurant was surprisingly good, and the rooftop bar was a real highlight—fabulous city views at sunset to end the day and great views at night. We found the staff and service very responsive. Great spot for a short city break and good value for money.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sabah hotel. From the first moment we checked in till check out. Reception staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The rooms are good and clean. And not far from centre. Its pool is lovely set against a jungle background.. Will stay again

Historic hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious, but old and not well maintained. Due for refurb. Breakfast options were pretty average, but congee and roti jala with kari ayam have a special place in my heart, and tummy ;)

It's a very pleasant stay, the room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is okay, not great but sufficient. Would love to come back on the next trip.

Pleasant hotel, rooms are comfortable and clean. The pool is a great restbite from the heat. The on-site restaurant has a nice mix of western and Asian foods.

Very clean and lovely hotel with a very nice outdoor pool. I stayed there just for one night. Breakfast was very delicious and variant. Close to the city center with multiple local restaurants.

Regarded as one of the better hotels in Sandakan, I was left underwhelmed. The rooms are tired and dated and detract from the available facilities such as the pool. The night I was there, they had a visiting dignitary and his security entourage, who had no respect for other guests and it was nearly 2am before I could get to sleep. The biggest disappointment though was on arrival, I was looking forward to a beer by the pool. I ordered a Tiger beer, received a glass and a 320ml can and was charged 25RM!! That's more like higher end International prices, not justifiable in Sandakan in a dated 4 star.

Overall Satisfactory

All good with my colleague’s stay. It’s so easy to get around and cleanliness was consistent throughout. Generally pleased I booked this hotel as it was a right choice!

The staff were friendly, The rooms were reasonably large, and spotlessly clean. ♥️
