It was a nice place to stay and near the major water parks and the ******* house. The restaurants on site were also good. The pool was nice too.

In an wheelchair called asked if handicap was told I’m good asked for towel got attitude then was told you could not park in front of our own hotel room the next morning and parked the second night and was told handicap parking is on the other side which the right none and was told to get a handicap room, which I requested for plus door didn’t have lock

Smelled like fresh paint and cigarettes. Lamps didn’t work and had 3 remotes in room and only one went to tv lol and paint chips in heater vents and when it turned on they started flying out vent and smelled horrible. I asked for 2 extra pillow and manager comes out and says this all we got and gave me half a pillow lol place is horrible and wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s honestly not bad for the money, don’t have high expectations and you will enjoy the hotel!!

Let me start by saying, I'm a travel agent and do reviews all the time. I give my honest opinion when reviewing. I so wanted to like this motel, but it just wasn't in the cards. We walked in about 1030p, check in was super easy. Gentleman at the front desk was very polite. We were given room 108, a king size bed. We go to our room only to find little met-flies all over the place. We knew this low budget hotel would need a little TLC on our behalf, so we came prepared and brought Lysol, some Clorox wipes, pet spray (as it stated it was a smoking room) and some antibacterial spray. It wasn't enough. You would need to completely gut the room, and start over to make it livable.. I should've went with my initial instincts, especially after reading the reviews. Those that were giving 4 and 5*, I'm not sure what the hell they were basing that off of. Definitely was not cleanliness. I'm assuming those people are use to this type of dirtiness, we however are not. Like i said, i really wanted to love this place, expected a few hick ups here and there but this room was horrific. The bed looked, felt dirty. The bathroom was not the cleanest either, we weren't going to attempt to use it. The dead lock didn't work, you could see a gap between the molding and door, probably how all the bugs were getting in. There was a chain lock that we could use, but still didn't feel the safest. After debating all of 10mins, we decided to leave. We had the heebie jeebies and couldn't shake the feeling. Went to the front office, spoke to the manager, and my sister said, "We are out of here" (handing him the key back), I said, you have too many bugs in that room for us to stay. He actually shook his head as in acknowledgement. I said, I'm not sure if there is anything you can do, a credit (as we were there for a top of 10mins). He asked how many nights we were there for, i said, one and he said, oh sorry no i can't do anything about tonight. I'm confident he would have waived the remaining nights. I wasn't looking for a refund as it was my choice to leave. However, a good will gesture of even 1/2 my money back would have gone a long way. I can honestly say, I wouldn't recommend this motel to anyone. ps. I usually take pictures, but i was seriously too disgusted to want to relive it. In closing of this review, we decided to pay a few extra dollars and travel a little further away for a Marriott property, and let me tell you, once we opened that door the feeling of AHHHH was overwhelming . So clean, bathroom spotless, beds comfortable, a true breath of fresh air, and breakfast included, always a winner.

I have stayed in this hotel countless of times and every time it blows my expectations away. Great distance to cedar point, very quiet, has a fantastic donut shop next to it that has great priced donuts. When I stay in Ohio for cedar point this is the place I stay! Great service and everything!

It started out really bad like the commercial on tv, with the mom waving at her children across the hotel lot. They corrected the error and we ended up in a suite of five beds. The check in time is at three in the afternoon instead of letting you choose. The service for the room was very awesome. Thank you

Dirtiest hotel room I’ve even been in. Only stayed because other hotels were 3 or 4 times the price and it was a last minute trip. Requested a non smoking room, but as soon as I opened the door you could smell smoke. There was even a cigarette butt can outside the door. Beds and towels were clean. Didn’t look like the floor had been swept/mopped. Counter was dirty. Shower had not been deep cleaned in a long time. Could see build up in the grout and someone else’s hair on the shower wall. Will never stay again. My family was very uncomfortable.
