Blue Bahia Resort

This has been an incredible experience!! Adam, Becca and team are awesome and always there to make your stay even better. They are a wealth of information concerning activities on the island and wonderful places to eat. The food at the restaurant is amazing and very reasonable. I am planning on returning soon!!

I traveled alone with my son to Roatan and stayed at Blue Bahia. We had just had a terrible experience with the airline and Becca helped us feel at home. They are very friendly here. Their grill experience is great because you can have a great Honduran breakfast, or go more American. They are right on the beach so you can just walk out into the water. It is super chill here and the grill gets packed on some nights with live music. The pool is beautiful and it is nice to have a full kitchen in our studio. The hammocks outside each room are the absolute best! Definitely no surprises and everything looked just as it does online!

I cannot say enough great things about Blue Bahia Resort – Sandy Bay - and their owners Adam and Becca. I experienced an unplanned extended stay due to passport issues and spent my second week on the island with these folks and I should have been there the whole time. Boutique resort with onsite bar/grille and fantastic dive shop. Condos were perfect w/ regular maid service – entire BBR staff felt like friends and family – just an overall fantastic, comfortable place to stay. Adam and Becca were extremely accommodating helping us coordinate outings and transportation as needed, but not much need to leave this place especially if you enjoy daily diving.

This was our first trip to Roatan and we were not disappointed. Blue Bahia was exactly as advertised. It is a low key resort with a great chill vibe. We were greeted with great hospitality and truly felt a part of the community from day one. Becca, Adam, Josh, Kim, and all the staff were exceptionally welcoming and happy to assist with questions and valuable suggestions. Every morning we got a very helpful message of specials and happenings around the island. The included breakfast was fantastic and you got to make your choice from their regular menu. My only initial reservation was that the affordable price was too good to be true. Those were false concerns because it was a fantastic value for a great resort. Tailor made for divers. The Sandy Bay Divers were great to dive with. They seemed to do a great job grouping experienced divers with experienced divers and novice with novice. Bottom time was maximized. Location is ideal as well. Secluded enough for relaxation and close enough to activities that you won’t be inconvenienced. You won’t be disappointed booking this resort.

Blue Bahia is out of the mainstream hustle & bustle of the West End. About 5 minutes by car, it feels secluded on the beach. We visited twice during our week in Roatan. The owners are so personable and really care about the experience. Sunset here alone is worth the search for the restaurant. We enjoyed the Wednesday 2-tail lobster dinner and the tacos are really favorable.

Kim, Josh, Becca and Josh are hosts extraordinaire and the property is wonderfully intimate, clean and all good vibes. Every detail is considered from a daily WhatsApp event message, to virtually immediate responses to any request. We quickly realized most of the guests were return visitors, which is a huge compliment in itself. The food at the grill is only exceeded by the service. If we are ever on Roatan again, we will 100% stay with Kim and Josh at the Blue Bahia! Thanks @bluebahia
