Hotel Hangelar

We stayed at the Apartment in the Hotel. It’s quite spacious with a large bathroom and a small storage room for the bags. Located on the 2nd floor (there are no lifts), with a high ceiling, we enjoyed our 6 day stay! Amenities in the room included a fridge, microwave, Nespresso and a kettle. Lots of cutlery and crockery too. The Hotel is located at walking distance from Hangelar Mitte railway station, so traveling to Bonn or Sankt Augustin was very easy. Breakfast at the Restaurant downstairs was good, and we liked the good selection of tea! The restaurant also is open in the evening on most week days and we ate there one evening. Service and food were good. Have to mention that cleanliness at the property is of a high standard, room cleaning is done everyday. A few umbrellas were available at the exit which we found useful during the unusually wet summer. We will definitely say here in case we happen to visit the area again!

Wir haben überraschend ein Upgrade bekommen. Das Appartment war wirklich sehr schön und sehr gut ausgestattet. Sehr freundliches Personal. Jederzeit wieder! Eigentlich wollten wir in Köln Porz wohnen, aber wegen einer Messe in Köln war entweder alles belegt oder völlig überteuert. So sind wir auf das Hotel gestoßen und waren super zufrieden.

Das Zimmer im Dachgeschoß war sehr warm 28,9°C. Wenn man nachts das Fenster offen lässt, ist die Straße unangenehm laut. Der aufgestellte Ventilator und die auf Nachfrage gebrachte mobile Klimastation halfen nicht viel. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut und abwechslungsreich.

Tolles Hotel mit familiärem Flair, sehr freundliches Personal, sauberes und großzügiges Zimmer, das Frühstücksangebot ist sehr ansprechend, Sonderwünsche werden gerne erfüllt, ein Besuch an der Bar sollte eingeplant werden, immer wieder gerne :-)
