Hotel Das Urbisgut

This may well be the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I've written several reviews on hotels, but no hotel ever made me this happy. The views from our 2 balconies were so beautiful. The staff was very helpful and Herbert and Manfred spoke perfect english and answered all our questions (plus had us laughing every night). The beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean, including the sheets and towels. The food was top notch every night - gourmet dinner every night. The gameroom (ping pong, pool table, foosball) and beautiful indoor pool were fun (towels provided by the pool). The free ski bus to the slopes was very convenient. The buffet breakfast spread had so many options. There is even an indoor waterpark down the street that has indoor waterslides and a hottub pool where you can swim outside even with snow on the ground (bring your own towel). The hotel is in a very safe area in an adorable small town where you can walk everywhere. This was our 1st time staying here. We had no plans to return to Austria, but now we're considering making this an annual trip. I could not be more happy! I wish I could come back tomorrow.

Another return stay here and excellent as always. We’ve been coming back to Das Urbisgut for around 10 years. Very comfortable, spacious rooms, quiet and relaxing. The scenery from each room is breathtaking. Waking up to crisp, clean, fresh air is invigorating and refreshing. The evening meal was excellent, much needed after a long drive. The breakfast is also very impressive too with a large selection to choose from. All of the staff are very friendly, it really shows that it is family-run. We would love to stay longer, a very welcome break. 10/10 from all of us. Looking forward to our next stay.

My wife and I decided to have an overnight stop at Hotel Das Urbisgut on our way to Germany and couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay, with the family run hotel being modern, with lovely furnishings offering a wonderful ambience and in a quiet location. Upon arrival, onsite parking was readily available and we were warmly greeted by the receptionist and efficiently checked in. Our room which incorporated a good-sized bathroom and toiletries was extremely spacious, clean, nicely furnished, very comfortable and with a balcony. The free Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast was more than adequate with an excellent choice of hot and cold foods available, whilst our ‘half board’ package included a wonderful 5 course meal accompanied by outstanding service. The hotel also has a bar / lounge area, a small indoor pool, sauna and games room available for guests, as well a convenient ski bus stop out the front of the hotel. Overall, we loved our short stay at this lovely hotel, which was aided by the friendliness and outstanding service of all staff and hope to return sometime in the future.

We spend our skiing vacations in Das Urbisgut for years and enjoyed it immensely every time. It offers the best quality of service, comfort, and cleanliness. The cuisine is excellent - every dinner is a different event by itself. The friendliness of the owners, management and the entire staff is towering.

This hotel is a real 4 star, very nice family run hotel. They really make your stay unforgettable. We had a great time. Everything is perfect. The food is good and the stuff is super nice. Rooms are spacious and perfectly clean. The spa is very nice. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel and it takes you to Flachau Space yet in 5 minutes or to Zauchensee in 15 minutes. We spent a great new years holidays. I really recommend this hotel to all the famillies.

We are regular guests in Urbisgut, we like the hotel and everthing around. Hotel location is perfect close to shops, restauntants, Therme Amade. Rooms are spacy and clean. Very tasty food, local cuisine. And last but not least, the whole hotel team is great, very professional.
