Hotel Park St. Johann in Tirol

Excellent! Our family’s fifth stay at Hotel Park. Large, clean bedroom and bathroom in the Austrian style. Breakfast is wonderful, truly plenty for everyone. Dinner is changed daily with at least four courses. Every bite was delicious. English speaking staff who go the extra mile to help. Honestly, the best hotel! We will return again and again.

The hotel was great for us, the room a good size with a separate toilet from the bathroom and had all facilities you needed (even a free safe). The meals were self service buffet for breakfast, and a 4/5 course main meal - the starter was brought to you as was the main course (this being a choice of three dishes) and desert, the soup, salad, and cheese courses where all self service. We didn't use the ground floor ski-room as we only came for a weeks hiking, their is a games room, a kids play room, and a sauna (none of which we used either), we frequented the bar for beers and hot chocolate, a few nights a week entertainment is put on too. The staff are very helpful at all times, and the room is kept very clean.

Hotel was ok like, as Thomas cook Sotc take tourists long distance in bus only rather than enjoy a country or hotel amenities, this group are really anti tourism for a country as they make tourists sit in bus only so how can tourists enjoy a destination. Probably best option is to avoid Sotc Thomas cook to use hotels in a country as they discourage tourists to visit a destination, and spoil the name of a hotel and country too.

A wonderful holiday in Hotel Park where nothing was too much trouble. The staff went the extra mile to ensure that guests enjoyed their visit. The food was excellent both in terms of quality and choice. The room was spacious with views of the mountains in all directions. We have visited St. Johann on a number of occasions and we would recommend both the village and Hotel Park for a special holiday.

There is nothing at all to fault. The Hotel was gorgeous, the food was plentiful and glorious. Lisa, Connor and Paddy were excellent. They were so pleasant, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Their service was second to none. Seppie, the owner, has a veritable wealth of knowledge. Everyday we asked him for help/advice from booking train tickets, changing trains, where to go and what to see. He was absolutely fantastic. We booked our Gondola, mountain cart trip and our train tickets through him and he even told us which platforms to go to, change at etc. Nothing was too much trouble. We have never been to Austria before but after our experience of the Hotel Park we will certainly be back. We would highly recommend this amazing jewel in the Tirol to everyone.

Stayed for a week through Tui late June/early July. This is a wonderful welcoming hotel in a good position close to the lift station and only a short walk from the rail and bus stations. We had a large comfortable superior room on the 3rd floor with big picture windows. There was a free safe and a compact bathroom with a good shower. Meals were very good, with a choice of 3 mains at dinner which always included a vegetarian option, plus help yourself soup and salad. Free drinks with dinner were a welcome bonus. Special thanks to Lisa, Paddy and Connor for looking after us so well. Breakfasts were good, and the ability to make your own packed lunch with bottled water, greaseproof paper and plastic bags provided was a godsend. The visitor card provided giving free travel on trains and buses in the local area made getting around so easy. Many guests had stayed before and it was easy to see why.
