Beds so comfy Staff so friendly Location perfect Plenty of activities locally. Local transport free and easy to use plus always on time. Scenery absolutely stunning and certainly considering a return in the winter to compare even though not skiers

First visit to Hotel Fischer and we were pleased with room, bar and dining. Happy to return in the future. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The free bus and train transport with the guest card are a great bonus. Also free use of the local swimming pool was great considering the hot weather!

My girlfriend and I had a great time at this hotel on our summer hiking trip. The owner, Michael, was super helpful. He helped myself book paragliding and always made time to chat with us. He made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our week. The room was big and clean, which was really nice to come back to after a day of hiking. We loved the breakfast. It had tasty local bacon, sausage, and eggs, and fresh croissants and coffee every morning, kitchen staff were all very helpful. The hotel’s right by the main square with lots of good restaurants that serve up substantial hearty local food at good prices. There’s also a spring water fountain right outside with the best tasting cold water. It’s a great spot for hiking since it’s close to the Kitzbüheler Horn ski lift and the Kaiser mountain range. We could also use buses and trains for free up to Wörgl with the Digital GästeCard, we enjoyed visiting kitzbühel and free transport for this was handy. Swimming was free too, and we got lucky with the weather. Plus, there’s a cheap launderette just a stone’s throw away. And I have to mention Nathan, the Welsh bartender. He was so welcoming and kept a very positive welcoming environment at the hotel bar. We’re already thinking about coming back for a ski holiday in the winter.

A big thank you to all of the staff. Our hiking group of 6 people stayed here for 7 nights & the staff were so welcoming from our first day. Very clean and nice breakfast, very enjoyable experience. I would like to thank the hotel staff for the hospitality we received while staying at the hotel last week . From our arrival the service was outstanding . The hotel was spotless the breakfast was delicious and varied and our upgraded room was so comfortable. The value was amazing . Truly memorable holiday.

We are not ones for writing reviews after holidays, however on this occasion I cant say enough good things about our stay in Fischer Hotel. The hotel itself is very central, clean and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was always of good quality with plenty choice. The biggest asset to the hotel though, has to be the staff, everyone were incredibly friendly and made you feel welcome (and not just another paying guest) Nathan especially went above and beyond. We enjoyed our holiday so much we are actually going back again at the beginning of September this year....and we rarely go back to the same place twice!! Can't wait.

We have just returned from a weeks stay, and it was a perfect week! The hotel is in the best location, in the centre of St Johann, so the mountains and station are within a 15 minute walk. All the staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast offered had an excellent choice, and everything was clean. It was our first visit to Austria, and it won’t be our last and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Hotel Fischer again.

What an amazing week we just spent here. Our adjoining rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable with lovely balconies. The staff were super welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was delicious! The hotel location was perfect, right in the centre of beautiful St Johann. We will definitely return! Highly recommended!

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Fischer Superior Hotel. The hotel is perfectly situated in the centre, yet it was so quiet. There is plenty of choice at breakfast with optional extras such as salmon toasts, avocado and even proscecco! Our room was so comfortable, spacious and clean with the most stunning views of the mountains. The staff are very attentive, welcoming and friendly. The town is lovely and picturesque with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. The free guest card offers free transport to nearby towns which was amazing. We would have happily stayed longer and would definitely recommend this hotel and town, we have certainly fell in love with Austria and look forward to visiting again soon.
