Grand Hotel Cocumella

I can't say enough good things about our stay—this hotel far exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and inviting. But what really made our stay special was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and eager to help. A special thank you to Giuseppe at the concierge desk, who went above and beyond to make our trip seamless. He helped us with everything from dinner reservations to local recommendations, with genuine interest in making sure we had a great time. Room 231 is amazing. Thank you for making our stay truly special!

I can't say enough about the beauty of the Grand Hotel Cocumella. But the level of service is was what sets the Cocumella apart from other 5 star hotels. The tone for our stay was set immediately by the concierge who went above and beyond at every turn. The consistency of professionalism and care was unparalleled. I am eager to return.

This was the best hotel I ever stayed at Giuseppe was great. He took care of things and tours and everything that we possibly needed even before we knew we needed it. Food service accommodations everything unquestionably top-notch. I will be going back.

There are not enough accolades to convey the beauty of this hotel. The gardens overlooking the sea are spectacular. My husband and I watched the beautiful sunset from the hotel’s terrace while enjoying the stunning views of the bay. Our room was excellent. We had chocolate covered strawberries waiting in our room upon our arrival. The breakfast was delicious. I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff who were very welcoming and helpful, especially the concierge. I did not get his name but he went above and beyond the call of duty on the day of our departure. We were traveling by Itabus from Sorrento to Naples Afragola and were not sure where to catch the bus. When our taxi did not arrive in a timely manner he put us on the hotel shuttle with instructions to the driver to make sure we found our bus. It did not leave from the train station as we assumed but our driver asked and helped us get to the bus stop. A stunning hotel with an amazing staff!!

We traveled with our 18 year old daughter and we loved this hotel. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The daily breakfast was amazing and the servers were very attentive. My husband and daughter ate at the restaurant the first day we arrived but the rest of our meals were outside of the hotel. They indicated the food was very good. Our first night, we made a connection with bartender Genaro and we all went back on the last night to say goodbye to him and he shared a video of his son at a dance competition. We wished we were there when the pool and beach were open. The grounds are beautiful.

Cocumella is a place that reminds me of what elegant hotels were like, timeless. With hotels catering for larger and larger audiences, the essence of hospitality has been forgotten. This hotel, Cocumella is an experience and one which is emotional and peaceful; from the rooms to the botanic gardens or even a reflective platform overlooking the sea. The feeling of welcome each evening we returned from Sorrento Town was very personal and connected. We never felt like a number, but were made to always feel like a special guest - likened to coming home to friends. Especially Guiseppe, the concierge who has been here for 30 years, gives you his knowledge and experience on what trips might be available and good restaurants to go to. A welcoming face who always seems to take interest in your day. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, intimate, peaceful but also located well for exploration.
