Sandos El Greco - Adults Only

A short mini break away and we upgraded to Elite. Elite - Nice to have branded drinks and own bar by sunbed area. Elite - No room upgrade to sea view available. Elite - Glass box had mini black flies present on several different occasions. Elite - Bar restocked in room with soft drinks/beers. Elite - Safe included (€5 refundable deposit) Elite - Beach towels included at no at extra cost/deposit All Sunbeds were packed in like sardines although in Elite they did overlook the beach. This hotel is not a 4* at best it’s a low 3*. Hotel is NOT suitable for those with mobility issues. Lifts only in hotel to accommodation/indoor bar/reception. Overall Negatives: - 1 Pool was not big enough to accommodate hotel at full capacity and from Elite area was a trek in the heat - Too many steps to access/exit pool - Breakfast did not open until 8am - Everything stops at midnight, literally lights out and go to bed - Towels were not always clean and at one point not enough towels were provided for number of guests in room - Glassware not always clean/washed properly - Food not always hot - Restaurant seating limited for sea views if table for more than 2 persons - Branded as a “Wellness Centre” - massages were overpriced and apart from Yoga I did not see any other “wellness” activities - Sunbeds being reserved from 5am and then not used throughout the day - Beach towels could only be changed for fresh towels at reception between 9-11am - Pool opens from 10:00am - Pool closes at 19:00hrs and pool area cleared for evening entertainment from 19:30 onwards - Lots of trees in Elite area dropping needles/fruits and needed to be cut back/tidied Overall Positives: - Air con working in room and bar areas - Rooms clean - Nice wines - Food variety - Majority of staff pleasant Summary: Would I return? No Would I recommend? No, this is not a 4* resort

Brilliant break at Sandy’s El Greco – would happily go back tomorrow! If you’re after a spotless adults-only hotel with just the right mix of activity and relaxation, Sandy’s El Greco is a winner. Days are filled with options – from poolside games (Hugo and Szofia are fantastic at gently roping you in!) to just lounging with a cocktail in hand. The pool is lovely, though not huge – hence the early-morning towel dash at 7:30am to bag the best spot. The all-inclusive option is superb value: varied food every day, a handy snack bar for those “just one more ice cream” moments, and drinks that keep flowing (in the best possible way). Staff couldn’t be friendlier, and the rooms are comfortably sized with everything you need. If you are thinking of booking the upgraded option, I personally don’t think it is worth it. The separate are is shaded and you get your own bar but it’s not next to the pool. The resort itself is peaceful, with gorgeous white beaches and a spectacular sunset over the bay. Evenings bring entertainment that’s a touch on the cheesy side – but the crowd’s energy more than makes up for it (think singalongs rather than standing ovations). Do note: there are plenty of steps, so pack a bit of stamina! The airport transfer takes 30–60 minutes depending on drop-offs – just enough time to get excited. Weather was amazing, we met some genuinely lovely people, and we’ll definitely be back. A holiday that ticks almost every box!

We found Sandos El Graceo the perfect hotel for a relaxing pool/beach holiday. Upon arrival we felt immediately welcomed, well informed and included in the going ons. We feel this is important when you only have a week to relax and want to kick start into your holiday right at check in to make the most of your time. The hotel exceeded expectations and reading that the last refurbishment was back in 2017 (from what we read on Google) is well maintained, clean and tidy and most importantly all staff super friendly. The friendly and helpful reception team are always on hands to help and assist what ever your needs with a smile and friendly positive attitude. They were a great help from our check in, towel and safe hire, booking our specialty restaurant reservation to asking for extra bedding and pillow to make our stay a bit more comfortable. The Hotel housekeeping and maintenance team continued that friendly positive vibe throughout the hotel when ever coming into contact always greeted with a smile and “Hola/Hello”. Talking of house keeping and maintenance teams, the public areas and our room was kept well maintained and very clean and tidy. The food and beverage team also did a tremendous job of keeping us fed and well hydrated! Always so friendly and accommodating. The restaurant team were superb at turning around the tables at meal times and ensuring each guest had a clean table, placemat and cutlery. The bar team were great in keeping service speedy and precise. The bars were kept well stocked and you were never waiting long. Our hosts and entertainment team were truly fantastic and we could not fault. Hugo and Zophia had to be top of our ratings for the hotel. Hugo with his charm, charisma and awesome energy kept everyone entertained and engaged. A true professional in what he does bringing everyone together for a good time. Zophia with her elegance, sophisticated presence brought people together being beach yoga/pilates, pool aerobics or other engaging classes. Beach Yoga had to be one of our holiday highlights! The class was on such a professional level, the setting on the beach and Zophia’s guidance was such an amazing experience. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for our fantastic holiday experience. Other Entertainment highlights were the two female singers from South Africa and the Game Show Hosted by “Zapping TV Show Ibiza”. A very special shout out to Zophia for her fantastic Yoga beach classes and her friendly vibe around the hotel. We booked with Tui and was very impressed with all the travel arrangements they had in place.

Lovely hotel if you upgrade to the Royal Elite as the sea views are amazing. Sun beds were okay despite the regular sun bed warrior wars. Staff were lovely and friendly. Coeliac was catered for with ease. Premium drinks were great. Location is absolutely beautiful. The best sea to swim and snorkel in. A lovely hotel and the loveliest location we could have hoped for.

Great hotel,a/inc very warm welcome by reception staff with a glass of cava very quick to get booked in excellent directions given for our room we had booked the compact room due to no availability of next room size we did find it a bit small albeit it did have a good size terrace, very clean and well presented all the way through the hotel 1st class buffet style meals and quality 2nd to none with it being adults only the pool and terrace area where quite peaceful although the activities kept us busy entertainment all mixed throughout the week and enjoyable not kean on having to pay for the safe or towels but then again we have been to the carribean for the last few vacations, but overall very enjoyable holiday will be back next September and looking forward to it see you all then bye for nor and thankyou Paul/paula

Higo - the entertainer refused me to take part in karaoke just when I was away for 1 minute - very mean and made me feel so rubbish 😪 when I really was looking fwd to it. Allowed other people to sing numerous times! He finishes entertainment abruptly and rudely. Rest of hotel experience is good except All Inclusive finishes at 11pm with no soft/ hot drinks served either!
