Aparthotel Nereida

We don’t normally do reviews but feel we need to point out the good and the bad of this hotel. Overall we had a good holiday, the hotel is very dated but nonetheless it’s very clean. We had a sea view apartment, which was kept very clean and bed lined changed regularly. The bathroom was adequate but the cover over the water outlet was loose and kept slipping off, a safety issue also there was no anti slip mat for the shower floor and when we asked for one was told they didn’t supply them but gave us an old beech towel to use instead🥺. The towels though were lovely shame about the rest of the bathroom. The bar staff were all very friendly as were the staff in the dining room. The food though that’s another thing we have never had such poor quality food in all the years we have traveled, it was never hot and very repetitive, no cold meat or cheese to have with salad at lunch just a little bowl of something the cook had decided would be okay and the number of times we had something in breadcrumbs for lunch or dinner, practically every day we think they have shares in ICELAND During the week we only had ordinary potatoes once the rest of the time it was chips or wedges. There were never enough crackers to go with the cheese board and when asked for more was told that they had run out. The spar shop is over the road. Our best entertainment was watching the stag and hen parties all very well behaved but having a great time.

This hotel is mediocre at best. The only thing going for it was the sunset views and the fresh orange juice you would get at breakfast. Pillows were uncomfortable. One receptionist was dismissive and rude. The food was MID do not get all inclusive it’s not worth your money. The location was okay I guess, couple restaurants around. I would recommend only if you’re looking for a getaway but don’t expect luxury or to be well fed. Beach towels weren’t included, which is disappointing, you had to pay 2 euros a day and if you wanted it changed you had to pay more money. Bit of a scam really as they don’t allow you to use the towels you get in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful though apart from the one receptionist who was rude on multiple occasions to me and my boyfriend. I wouldn’t waste your money, unless you don’t mind venturing out.

Please don’t listen to the negative reviews of this hotel. We don’t write many reviews but this hotel deserves one. This hotel is lovely, it is clean and fresh and the staff are so lovely and helpful. My partner and I have stayed here for nearly 3 weeks each time for the past 3 years and going again this year. The staff do all that they can to accommodate their guests. We have found that the staff in this hotel are very accommodating whilst also maintaining the professionalism of the hotel. We have never encountered any issues with staff or guests and the staff have never been anything but helpful and kind to us, especially Claudia and Clair, to name a few. We come to Ibiza each year and we have finally found a hotel that we want to return to each year. We love this hotel and will continue to stay here due to the attention that the staff take and how lovely the hotel is. The sea views are amazing and the atmosphere around the pool is welcoming. We usually stay in a sea view room which has the most breath taking views. We personally don’t like to go out of the hotel until after the sunset because the views are that incredible from our room. For the price you would pay for this hotel, the views are phenomenal. We don’t stay all inclusive so we can’t comment on the lunch and evening food but the breakfast food is plentiful and well cooked; we enjoy the breakfast. The hotel is beautiful of a day but even more so of an evening where you can watch the Ibiza sunset. The pool area is clean and well kept, we have never had an issue getting a sun lounger. The pool is beautiful and very clean, we have often seen it getting checked by staff. It is a deep pool and pool noodles and small inflatables are welcomed. There are steps into the sea which are a very small walk from the pool area, there are steps leading down to a boardwalk with steps that lead into the sea. I found the ladder slightly slippy but my partner was fine. This hotel is a short walk to some of the bars and restaurants, I would say maybe 5 minutes walk to the nearest bars and restaurants. There are a number of them at the end of San Antonio Bay where this hotel is situated. The walk along is a pleasant walk and you will find a variety of bars that are suited to all ages.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights over the weekend of the 1st of May. Our break got off to a strange start. After check in we noticed the pool was empty and staff had failed to mention this on arrival. We were informed it would be ready in a couple of days! Given we were only there for the weekend, we raised the matter with Tui and were upgraded to All Inclusive. Sure enough after 2 days the pool was ready. The hotel itself has an excellent location. Right on the beach, away from the main road but still only a short walk to bars and supermarkets. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The WiFi was excellent with multiple devices connected. The food was of a good standard too. Options of a full English breakfast or something healthier in the morning and lots of options at lunch time and in the evening, with plenty of fresh meat, fruit and vegetables on offer.

Came with my wife kids and parents to my favourite place in the world ibiza!!! As travelling is my job it’s nice to come to my favourite place on a big family holiday for a week and the hotel didn’t disappoint. I’ll start with the very few issues we faced. The hotel didn’t have the best air conditioning so sometimes it would get very hot and stuffy in the room. So much so that my parents moved rooms as there’s didn’t work at all. To be fair to the hotel they upgraded them to a bigger corner room with an amazing view of the med sea. The food was nice but if you’re a picky eater then you may find it difficult to find something to eat. However they have a wide variety of food with different things everyday they also have food there that I have never tried in my life so that was good. Also when checking in a group of young girls came down saying their room had not been cleaned. This annoyed the lady at the check in counter as it was obviously a bad first impression for us and the other family waiting to check in behind us. The lady proceeded to tell the cleaner off in Spanish to the point the cleaner stormed off before returning around 10 mins later apologising and cleaning their room. So bad first impressions. You can also tell the hotel is quite old as some parts were a little bit dated. But nothing was majorly bad or off putting on that behalf. I also think there could be some more music around the pool area as at some points it was quite quiet round the pool which could easily be resolved by investing in a speaker. However apart from them small issues (that most got resolved quickly) I think this was a lovely hotel and not to believe every review that you read. You get a lovely view of the sunset from the hotel which gives it a really nice vibe. The location was amazing as just down the street was a main road that had plenty of bars and shops. It also had one with a bouncy castle live music and a bull machine which was handy as next door was a bar where me my dad and eldest son could each Derby county’s (our teams) first game of the season. It was around a 10-15 min walk from the hotel. They also had many other great bars my favourite being the millennium only being 5 mins away from hotel. If you wanted to get to main San Antonio you could either take a bus from a stop just outside the hotel or by water taxi around 15-20 mins away from hotel ( a ride costing around 5 euros) The shops around were also surprisingly cheap aswell as the products were fairly priced in my opinion. The site was also really clean especially round the pool area and bar. On the pool watch your kids ( if you have kids) around the middle of the pool as that’s where it’s at it’s deepest at around 3 meters deep. They also have acess to the sea on site which is a great place for snorkelling as there’s a lot of coral Reef and fish around there. We have been going to Nereida since 2013 before our children were born and it has become our favourite family holiday location. The staff really make the experience. They are friendly, attentive and just lovely people. They have seen my children grow up over the years and the kids pick this place over ones with slides/clubs etc because of the staff…and the food!!! We love the delicious buffet. My husband and I love the pool, the beach and the sunset chill area with great Ibiza music. We can’t say enough about how much we love this place and we will be back again in July this year!! Can’t wait!!
