Casual Bahía Ibiza

The staff are really really friendly - we’ve mastered the buses so we’re fine with the location- maybe 15E to the San Antonio centre- buses to Cala bassa- water taxis. Room clean and lovely. Breakfast was a 7/10 if I’m being honest. I think we’d come here again. Quiet location but there if you want it. I arrived at the newly refurbished Bahia Hotel on the opening day. The hotel was previously a family run business but the interest of a large concern was too much to ignore. The first impression is the branding of the new owners is everywhere. The refurbishment is tasteful and has brought a tired old hotel with little former investment to life. Checking in was easy enough. There were a few teething troubles on the system but that's to be expected on the first day. After a few days the bar and restaurant seemed to be open but the lack of customers made it hard to tell. I hadn't opted for breakfast as there are places around that can cater for any need and aren't restricted timewise. I recommend Del Valle Bar/restaurant over the road for good quality food and drinks. The room was nicely set out. A new double bed, a modern bathroom with shampoos, shower gels etc. A small fridge and an electric kettle are thoughtful extras. There is heating and air con but I didn't need either. There is a new wide screen TV which was restricted to just a few Spanish channels but it had built in radio so that was OK The room faced to the rear overlooking the pool area with new furniture and it looked very smart. The hotel was fairly quiet and sleeping wasn't a problem. The only slight gripe is an extractor or a pump of some kind was directly above and it started about 7.30 each day. The price I paid was very reasonable, don't forget to add on 3.30 euros per person per day for the Ecotax which has to be paid on arrival. The prices will rise steeply as the season kicks in properly as is normal but for a budget stay it's been fine. The staff are all very friendly and courteous and I wish the Casual Bahia well.

Estancia fantástica. Personal super atento. Repetiremos en más ocasiones la habitación super limpia y la cama muy comoda. El desayuno con mucha variedad . El trato de la directora excelente y siempre haciendo que nuestra estancia sea de diez, aconsejando lugares para visitar . Hotel a pocos metros de una cala muy bonita.
