Lovely hotel It's perfect. We enjoyed the adult only area, although you have to get up early to get q spot and some people left.towels there for a while before actually going there. The food was amazing and there is loads of choice. The rooms were ok although we did have an issue with sewage smell on a few occasions

We booked a 5 days stay here in April and were impressed by how good it was. The apartment was spacious, the balcony had an amazing view on the sea. The utensils in the kitchen weren’t great and they didn’t clean the bedding or the towels, but this was something we could overlook. There also is plenty of opportunities to park near the hotel if you rent a car.

The staff at the hotel were lovely helpful & friendly. It’s in a really good location a few minutes from the beach & surrounded be lots of shops & restaurants. The towels & bedding doesn’t get changed during your stay unless you pay extra for it. We stayed for one week & feel they should’ve been charged at least once as standard. The beds are very uncomfortable & creaked really loudly when moving or turning over.

This has been one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I always stay at Floriana but due to booking late I had to stay at Floriana and this hotel and let me tell you, this hotel was absolutely brilliant. Extremely clean hotel especially the pool area the washing area and reception. M.A. Caldentey Was the best. He let me check in a little earlier due to swapping hotels it was hectic but he was very friendly and very helpful. In fact all the reception including night time were outstanding. Floriana is good and hotel does help you but it is too hectic there. The room view was phenomenal. The hotel does not bother you and leaves you to it. It’s like being at home. The room has so much more then the Floriana and yet they are both 3 star. I would quite easily give this more stars. My Children do not want to leave here. I have been a protur member and staying at their hotels for 4 years. My only very small thing I would say is a vac is needed to clean The floor to pick up all the little bits after someone has vacated. I think that’s what the other reviews say because it is difficult with a brush never the less they had the room cold when we got there. It was like new. Everything you need was already here. I haven’t had to ring reception once. I was so shocked at the sunbed area that even by 9 45 this morning people haven’t reserved any. Everyone is amicable and friendly. No one is getting up rushing for sunbeds where at Floriana I couldn’t get any sunbeds and people are reserving from 6 am. Thank you M.A. Caldentey

Great location, wonderfully friendly reception as always and spacious comfortable rooms. My only criticism is that having visited for a few years now the rooms as getting tired and in need of repair and updating. They were not as clean as normal and felt rushed. This hotel is great value in my view but run the risk of losing their edge if they let the rooms, pool area and general cleanliness slip.

These are lovely apartments and so central, lovely clean pool and very comfortable sun beds and umbrellas, always managed to get what we required. The reception staff were the nicest and most helpful I have ever came across, they are so friendly and helpful. I spoke to the manager who was just as nice and very helpful. We had my 84 year old mum with us so we hired a mobile scooter, the area is very flat so ideal. T.here is a bike shop opposite the apartment that hire out four seater bikes, very popular. The only complaint I had was that the apartment was not as clean as I like, I spoke to the manager and he immediately had it Sorted, apartments could do with a paint and a bit of TLC. For what we paid I would give it 8/10

We loved this place! Close to everything you need! Nice view and cleen pool with a friendly guard. Very friendly stuff! Very Special thanx to fantastic May in the reception that helpt us so much and gave us the best vacation ever in Cala Millor!

Returned to the Atalaya after 3 years and unfortunately the room was not as clean or in the condition one would expect. Did I complain? No… I just cleaned up myself and enjoyed my short break. The kitchen area was still dirty with crumbs on the floor and the first plate I picked up was still dirty from a previous guest. The bathroom had a horrendous smell coming from the shower drain but this seems to be a common problem here that affects all the rooms, there must be something Protur can do to remedy this issue at the property? There was a lot of wall damage from doors hitting walls (no wall guards installed) marks on the paint where guests or the cleaning team had wiped the walls taking the paint off with it. There were also 2 shoe prints and dead mosquitos on the ceiling where someone had used their shoe to squash them. Finally the kitchen equipment (plates, cups and glassware) were an entire mix match which gave a really poor impression. Apart from the above, Protur Atalaya has an attractive small pool area and is located in the heart of Cala Millor. Reception staff are very friendly so I would not hesitate to contact them should I need to.

This could easily been a 5/5 stay with just a few bits of extra care.... Lets start with the good bits - great location close to Cala Millor centre & the beach, nice pool area, modern decor in the apartment & stunning sea views from the top floor. Now the not so good - the apartment was dirty when we arrived with bits all over the floor and the bathroom smelt horrid. It was 'cleaned' again after we complained but was no better. Not great, especially when travelling with children! The beds were also extremely uncomfortable & kitchen was very small. If the cleaning was improved then we would return, but otherwise we will find somewhere else to stay next time.
