Comida excelente muy variada, a toda hora encontrabas algo para comer, atención muy buena, siempre atentos con la limpieza, el show de la noche muy entretenido. Lo único de lo que me puedo quejar es que a veces llegaba un olor a aguas servidas, fuera de eso todo muy bien.

Excelente ambiente y muy buenas instalaciones, show, comidas, habitaciones servicio en general todo excelente!

Bueno, la entrada es un poco tarde y salida muy temprano. se debería idea una manera para hacer que el disfrute de playa pueda ser un poco mas largo sin estar preocupados tanto en el check out.

Todo bien pero deberian tener mas sillas en la playa y pisinas, dverian tener mas variedad de Snansk.

Excelente lugar para pasarlo en familia, amigos o pareja. Es muy relajante.

The best part for me about this hotel was meeting the entertainment manager, can't remember his name but we had a short conversation about where we are from (my daughter and I) and I told him Jamaica/ Canada. He also asked if I was attending the nightly shows and I said yes but even though we were enjoying it the language barrier was an issue because we don't speak Spanish. Would you believe from that night on until we left the Friday afternoon either him or some other member of the entertainment team spoke some English and made shout out to us. That in itself made me feel EXTREMELY WELCOMED and we are forever grateful for that. My only fault with my stay was room cleaning, it wasn't the best. The room was just cleaned up, the soda and water wasn't restocked and the pillow case wasn't changed and no clean wash rag was given even though you could see that it was soiled. Not a big deal to me but if it's something that needs to taken care of, then the expectation is that it will be. An iron is provided but no ironing board. Overall though we loved our stay and would recommend this hotel.

My wife, two kids and I just spent a week at the Gran Evenia Bijao in Panama and we had an amazing time. The hotel was great. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent. We ate the Mediterranean a la carte restaurant once which was nice, but the food at the buffet was great and was always a good variety, so mostly ate there. Edwin and Edgarado were great and always very attentive. They also have a snack bar close to the activity pool that serves hot dogs, burgers and nachos. There are two wading pools areas for kids that have small water slides, two other wading pools and three pools that are deep enough for swimming. There are also 7 water slides! My kids spent most of their time on the water slides and never got bored of them. The lifeguards were always friendly and helped teach my kids how to say the different colours of the slides in Spanish. The hotel is right on the ocean which is great too. Our room was overlooking the pool area and had a view of the ocean. The room was recently painted and the bathroom is very nice and modern. Every night they have a kids show that goes from about 8-9pm where they invite kids staying at the resort to come and play games. The staff tried their best to explain the different games in English so my kids could understand and they had lots of fun each time. After they have a performance that ends by 10pm and is different everyday. Our room was in tower 2 on the 8th floor and our kids were having a hard time sleeping with the noise from the later show, so I went to the front desk to see if they had any other rooms available. Meylin was extremely helpful and had her manager Yolonda take me to look at other options in tower 4 where it would be quieter. These rooms all face the ocean and the room we were given was on the ground floor is called a junior suite. The room was beautiful and is bigger than the normal rooms and had a walkout patio to the ocean. There’s free wifi throughout the hotel and in the rooms

I had the absolute worst experience at this resort. On the day of checkout, I took a quick shower and rushed out of my room, accidentally leaving my engagement ring and wedding ring behind. As soon as I realized, I immediately tried to contact the resort, hoping they could help me locate my rings. Getting in touch with them was a nightmare. They did not have a working toll-free number, and the number listed on their website did not work. I had to email them, and it took them days to respond. I finally had to ask a friend from Panama to call them from a local number, and that’s the only way I was able to get through to them. Even then, their response was cold and dismissive. They claimed my rings were not found and showed zero interest in looking into it or helping me. It’s clear that someone on their staff stole my rings, and the resort did absolutely nothing to investigate or assist me. No sympathy, no concern, just a flat-out “we don’t have them” attitude. I am devastated. My priceless, sentimental rings are gone forever, and this resort did not care one bit. If you value your belongings or expect basic human decency, DO NOT STAY HERE. They are unprofessional, unhelpful, and apparently have dishonest staff. Worst experience of my life.

Came to Gran Evania with 8 adults. Weather was great the whole week. The rooms are nice l, clean and not dated. Staff everywhere was very friendly. Al a cart restaurant we ok but didn’t prefer them. The buffet was good always found something we liked to eat. The burgers and fries at pool are very good and always fresh. Sports bar has great cappuccinos. We found excellent tour guide and he took us to monkey island and was half the price of any other tour company. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone.

Do you want to experience dangerous and unstoppable vomiting and diarrhea? Then this place is for you. The place looks ok but it holds a terrible secret, they regularly have food poisoning there (read the other reviews). Stupid me read the reviews and figured that the hotel had dealt with their poor food safety practices. They clearly didn’t. We are older and retired residents looking to celebrate with our family for 3 days. The last day was spent throwing up constantly with unstoppable diarrhea. Apparently the Panamanian government could care less about food inspection and food safety issues that impact the lives of visitors, residents and Panamanians. In short, don’t go there. If you only care about price, then make sure you have anti-emetics and anti diarrheal medicine in large quantities. It’s almost funny - the head chef will come out and ask you how your food was. The head chef wasn’t around the following day when we thought we were going to die of severe food poisoning. The chef should stay in the damn kitchen and ensure that his people aren’t poisoning their guests with salmonella and norovirus.

I'm normally not a picky traveler and don't normally leave a review but this place should be avoided. First off, room service is non existing. They change the towels, make the bed and thats the extent of it. Had coffee cups the first day and soda in the fridge and after that nothing. Had to ask for coffee and even then they only left coffee k cups no sugar no powdered milk and the mini fridge was not filled once during our stay. Then out of 5 travelers in our group, 4 got food poisoning at one of the a-la-cart restaurants. We heard and saw the same from others while we were there, people getting sick all over the place. We took a survey on the bus ride to the airport and out of 40 people 34 got food poisoning. When you venture out at night the smell is just unbearable, it's as if they empty out the waste next to the resort. I've traveled to many resorts but this is by a country mile the worst....
