Melia Ibiza - Adults Only

I stayed at this hotel as part of a big group and would definitely return. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable with beautiful views. Breakfast was nice and included in the room price. Drinks by the pool were great and special shoutout to Maky who was so accommodating and friendly. Location-wise, it’s a 6min walk to the supermarket and 10mins to the marina with lots of cute little restaurants. If you’re there to party then this hotel is too far out. My only thing I would say is the quality and variety of the food around the pool during the day could be slightly better. I’d definitely stay here again if returning to this area.

This hotel is wonderful, on arrival Benjamin was truly fantastic, very welcoming, and telling us about Meliá and the local area. On departure Vanessa was great to. The view from the room was fab. I highly recommend booking a premium sea view room. Housekeeping great, food at breakfast lovely and the pool area was clean and tidy, with great cocktails. We will return.

Overall an OKAY hotel. Stayed here for 10 nights with my partner in April. Here are my thoughts; Positives:The grounds are lovely and the pool is beautiful. Pool loungers are comfortable and the drinks are great. Staff are lovely and the breakfast was actually quite good. Location is great if you are not into partying as it’s right near a town with lots of lovely restaurants and shops. Negatives: The bed... oh my days the bed. I’ve been to hotels all around the world and I have never slept on something so uncomfortable… I think sleeping in a stable would be more comfortable than on these beds. Rooms are also quite small, again comparatively to other hotels I’ve been to the rooms were just not great. Pools are not heated and despite the 25 degree temperatures, were ice cold. We did have a lovely stay at this hotel but if I was to visit Ibiza again, id stay elsewhere.

I was really looking toward to visiting this hotel as we had stayed here when it was Sol Beach House. Sadly, I was disappointed. I felt that the staff were really only interested in trying to upsell The level rooms when we checked in. The room was nice but bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. The breakfast was very average, not much selection of fresh fruit. The pool is lovely but no atmosphere at all. I feel with a few small improvements this hotel has real potential. It’s just lacking something!

The hotel needs of refurbishing. My room was quite small and wasn't particularly clean. The views are stunning. Right on the ocean front. The pool is a fair size but not enough loungers. The breakfast buffet was very good quality with plenty of choice. Drinks and food were reasonably priced. The hotel is a short walk from the marina, a nice sandy beach and lots of bars and restaurants. The staff were lovely and helpful. On the whole it was a pleasant break

Just back from a lovely 4 day break at the Melia in Santa Eulalia. There are many reasons to recommend this hotel. It’s only a 10 minute walk into the little town where there are bars and restaurants aplenty, special mentions for Sidney, Bollywoods and San Martino. The hotel is immaculate, rooms are lovely with nice touches such as Rituals toiletries, clean towels in abundance (not sure how that’s helping to save the planet but appreciated all the same!) big comfy bed, and we had a great balcony view overlooking the main pool and out to sea. All very nice and chilled however there are a few things that could do with improving. The breakfast service was a bit of a let down, the hot food was only ever lukewarm, not helped by the fact that the counter is opposite a big door that leads to the tables outside and it was always open. On breezy mornings this meant the lukewarm offerings went colder much quicker. The crockery had that horrible dishwasher smell that often occurs if the machine isn’t cleaned regularly. It was rather off-putting unfortunately. The staff weren’t very attentive or friendly. Twice we requested a pot of coffee rather than use the coffee machines which served up lukewarm drinks (in keeping with the rest of the breakfast offerings) and the individual we spoke to tried to talk us out of it! We never did get what we asked for either. It all felt rather lacklustre and not particularly enjoyable. We also noted that the later you came down to eat in the morning, what was on offer seemed much more limited. For a big hotel like this the breakfast service needs to improve.
